I must confess I can be a bit of a tearfull person; it doesn't take much. I think it runs in my family the easy tears ha ha.

I cry at so much but here's a few.

If I've had such horrable pain I cry, coz I can't do anything else.
When I watched the movie the Notebook.
I cried when I read the book, Nights in Rodanthe. I sobbed and sobbed when I got to the end.
When my children stay overnight on school trips. makes me cry even now thinking of it.
The song, The Streets Dry your eye's mate. I cried loads to this song when my ex and me knew it had finished between us.
Seeing Horses and Dogs on animal rescue programmes. Cry, cry cry. Wondering how cruel can some poeple be to let animals. It breaks my heart.
When loved ones are poorly and you have to come to terms with it.
On a lighter note Andrex puppies makes me shed a tear and do the Cow and Gate advert where the babies laugh with one tooth showing hee hee Like those ones ha ha.
I cried when, I wrote a poem for my Grandad and read it to my mum.

i'm a crier in general, so that answer is varied. i'm prone to cry to express a wide range of emotions. music and writings are also BIG culprits.

I generally only cry when I see pain and cruelty, to animals or the environment or to other people.

Nicola's jokes.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

When I am poorly, literally anything and nothing (by which I mean I just cry, continually) makes me cry.

In general, extremes of frustration, sadness, pain, exhaustion and hunger. The thing that makes me cry the hardest is people saying mean things for no reason.

I cry when I hit my boiling point. Then it takes a few days to get myself back to a happy state.

You know... I actually thought about this question... If it was "ask the guys" instead of "ask the gals" then I could have a long list of crybabies for you. This site is full of them. Lot's of male crybabies.

Trying to think here...I really don't cry over things that might cause other people to tear up.

I cried when my oldest son (now 14) left for kindergarten, I cried most recently when my middle son--the one who was supposed to be my youngest, and who has always been my "baby"--left for his first day of middle school. Can't think of any other instances in which I've cried in the past decade or so.

Death and seeing people in genuine grief. Whether it's personal to me, fictionalized in a movie, funerals of people I barely know (or don't know), certain news stories. The tears flow. My worst break-up pales in comparison to losing a loved one, so even seeing others in that kind of pain instantly brings sympathy tears.

One thing that often makes me cry is music. So many songs speak to me and bring out feelings about my life that make me emotional. I often feel better after a good cry too.
I hope you enjoy my latest poem!

There are times when my husband and I dance a rumba, that he choreographs it so beautifully that I cry before the song is done. Also, there are times when the sex between he and I is so intense that I cry afterward. Other times it's caused by stress, deaths, hurtful things that happen to our children, etc.
