If I do, I just block them. Problem solved. I used to yell at assholes in the chat rooms but now I just block them. I figured out that there is a certain level of cluelessness out there that is beyond help.

Here we are 4 years after this post was made and it hasn't changed. I have no problem chatting with guys on here if I feel comfortable with them. I'm willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt that they "aren't like all the other guys looking for cyber or ," which is the line they all use in the friend request. That being said, I'm learning that with some if you don't give them immediate attention every time you sign on then something is wrong with either them or you. It's frustrating. The new argument in every aspect of social media is "you're never too busy for people you really want to talk to." Bullshit. I have hundreds of "friends" on social media, and we talk if and when the opportunity presents itself. Sometimes that opportunity doesn't come along for months at a time. Do we bitch about it? No. There needs to be a mutual understanding that yes, in the technological age everyone has access to everyone else, but that doesn't mean people aren't busy. God forbid you don't get instant gratification from someone. It doesn't mean I don't want to talk to them or interact in some way. It means I have 5 or 10 free minutes to get online, and I'd like to cover as much ground as possible. I'm not looking to spend those 5-10 minutes reading shitty messages about what a terrible person I am, whether it's on Lush, or anywhere else.

Understood, and I've tried that too but some people are simply bullies and ignoring them doesn't work either they simply continue to strut, swagger and abuse people at their whim utilizing any excuse to justify their actions as being "something else".

Yes JR. I might add too that this site like all things is finite in its reality. So if this is the place where you have to do such things to feel you "got over"
