I am drawn here to people with wit, charm, honesty, and openness. I'm usually out for a chuckle and a hug, but sometimes I have been known to go for a slap and tickle, cybernetically. A little naughty never killed anybody. Even more rarely, I'll pop out a story or poem, but I think I may well be the world's laziest writer.
Interests I like well written stories and poetry and I like erotic photography, particularly black and whites. I don't generally care much for what I call "open heart surgery" erotica. I have my own tumblr page that I post on frequently that shows my interests, I think. Take a peek, the link is below.
I love good music played loud. And I have a dog named Maggie May who owns my heart lock stock and barrel. Her picture is in my photo album somewhere. Rascally little bitch.
Favorite Books Catch-22. Another Roadside Attraction. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues. Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar. Time Enough for Love. The Catcher in the Rye. For Whom the Bell Tolls. A Moveable Feast. I also like poetry. My library card is well used.
Favorite Authors Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Heinlein, Hunter Thompson, Jack Kerouac, Tom Robbins, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Charles Bukowski. J.D. Salinger, e e cummings, Hemingway, Snyder, Corso, Ginsburg, Heller, Royko, Kazantzakis, on and on.
Favorite Movies Aw, who really cares? I'm a film nut so there's a lot.
Favorite TV Shows I don't watch too much TV anymore, which is weird since I used to be in the TV business. Most TV programming is shit.
Favorite Music I know it when I hear it. I like to explore different genres. I'm particularly fond of samba, Motown, the Great American Songbook, the classic singers/songwriters, some of the new stuff, and vocal jazz. Kat Edmonson is a recent find. John Prine. Sinatra, J.J. Cale, Mark Knopfler. Railroad Earth. Nicola Conte. Antonio Carlos Jobim. Lucinda Williams. Supertramp. Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield. Leonard Cohen.
