A couple of stories I have written for people have come from conversations I've had with them and or a picture they send me. I like to add personal little details into the story that give it a little humor as well as appealing to their fantasies.
I'm actually trying to write my first story now, I've mixed the character and back grounds of three or four people I've known to try and create the history and plot for the characters.

When I started writing erotica I went straight to my fetish and wrote about that. It was cathartic, the first time I ever addressed my true sexual interests - and I was nervous as all heck to publish it online. It was received well by readers (one of my most popular stories to date) and that gave me the courage to write more.

However - that's not the beginning of my interest in writing overall. Ever since i was little I wanted to write - I had ideas - but didn't know enough to pull it off. I tried tried tried tried tried.

I tried writing non-erotica, but it just didn't result in anything notable. In fact, I think that writing erotica gave me the personal interest I lacked. I really want to get going with an authoring career in erotica. I have little interest in seeing to non-erotica right now.

After reading hundreds of novellas and novels I realized that what I enjoyed more were full, deep, complex stories with thorough plots. So now my stories (novella and novel length) have erotica as the main, unifying plot - and several strong subplots.

Sex influences people's non-sexual lives, and the non-sexual lives influence the sex. It all goes hand in hand. so I explore everything with equal zeal.

My individual ideas can come from just about anything - anywhere. A news story that spikes my curiosity, a natural disaster or a major event, family life and marital tensions, career and education.

Just about anything can be fodder for a plot, a character concept, or a sexual situation.

When I settled down a few years ago (before erotica) and tried to write I remember going 'ummmm' because I didn't have a single story idea in my head. Now I know enough about how to take a little idea and turn it into a bigger story that my idea folder is brimming with ideas.

Writing is so much fun when you go 'and how can I take this story and make it about sex?'

Well the story I have written I wrote how I wanted to start a relationship with one of my friends. But I took the concept and made it completely out of the ordinary.

A lot of my stories are loosely based on real life events, like my parties and life at university etc.
I just weave stories around them.

The other ones, I just make up from my imagination.

Most of my stories are products of my own life-experiences combined with my fantasies. To a greater or lesser degree you can find me in all of my stories. I'm rather a shameless narcissist!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Pictures. People I see while out and about. Other fiction that I see a naughty right turn to.

As often as not, it's wordplay/puns that I build a story around, and usually ends up being the title or description line.

Some come for real life experiences. Some are from weird dreams. Some are from reading the great pieces here on Lush.

It can be anything, really. I can pull them from memories or fantasizes. Sometime just seeing a woman walk by can set an entire story into motion. Creativity is what makes writting so much fun.

Some of mine are dreams that I have. I have a very vivid imagination.

I also just think up crazy scenarios and just start to type.

I really never know what will happen. It's just how I write.

The only things I've ever used from dreams have been in horror stories. For every good dream I remember, there are 10 nightmares, 1 complete WTF?, and 1 where I work an entire shift and wake up to find out I have to go in and do it for real.

Now I just need to write them all!

My inspiration comes first from my own fantasies, then I add in some real life experience...which could be my own real experiences, something I saw or heard, a conversation or even a suggestion from others. (So beware you may just inspire my next story!) I have always loved to write and journal on a daily basis. I was a little nervous publishing my first story, but after all the good responses I got I was encouraged to write more. Still new at this but I am enjoying writing and reading all the stories on here. I always have several stories in the works and I find I do my best thinking while I walk my 4-5 miles each day...sometimes I almost run home as my mind and body are ready for some sexual relief.

I've only posted two stories so far. Both come from real life experiences, however it's now time to reach into my imagination and go for with some of my own fantasies that I use for my own pleasure and get them down and posted. The reaction will tell me if I'm weird or normal. A question that hangs on all our shoulders I believe

My future story lines will be based somewhat on real life experiences.

Pretty much everything I write has some kernel of true experience in it. But that experience is usually something mundane like waiting for a train (Across the Tracks) or living with a bunch of nerds in college (Room for Rent). Then I just play with it in my imagination, transforming it into something erotic that I can write about. I didn't sleep with any of my roommates (trust me, I didn't even want to), but I could kind of make a composite character out of all of them, and then surround that character with these sexy women living in close proximity and see what happens.

I also steal a lot from porn videos I've seen. Mother of the Groom basically lifted the general plot of every MILF seduction porn scene ever made, but I was able to expand on those basic elements, flesh out the characters, develop the plot, and turn it into something I think is a bit more original and engaging than the typical porn video.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Everything I write is part imagination and part real life experience. I sometimes take a real life experience and transform it. So, take a man and woman just having sex, transform it to two women or to a different scenario or location (like a train or station), add a little fetish here and there, change how one of the partners treat the other, add a little uncertainty and generally see the experience in a different way.

Some of the women I write about are me, in a different skin. They are how I would like to be, if I were female. I love the power that women have - believe me - you all have it.

Two stories I loved writing. The story "The Pianist", is based on a certain clock that is found in the Hunger Games (part 2), and I just found the theme of a clock and central island appealing - then I changed the venue, the style of the story and along came the sex. The story "Reduced to an Orgasmic Wreck" I consider a power play between two women and also between one woman and her fantasies all at the same time.

I do have a very fertile imagination though! and I have friends that help that along.

I used to be a pervert. In here, I'm normal!

Once you start a story how long does it take to complete it? I find once you start a story i love it when they add chapters and we can continue following along.

I have written a lot of stories in the past, and it all depends. Intricate plot? added characters? Writer's block? Real life interfere? I've cranked out a decent short story (2 or 3 chapters) in just a couple hours. But it took me a week to write an erotic poem that I had stuck in my head.
Many of the writers I have followed are as sporadic in their writings, putting out 3 or four in a weeks time then a month goes by with nothing. So, I guess what I am saying is that there is no norm to how long a story takes to write. Sorry sad

My ideas come from anywhere, from conversations I have had with people, to stories I've had and simple re-worked for this site. While you can't copy song lyrics, you can take a theme of a song and build around it and make it your own. I have a little notebook I carry around with me 24/7 and I write down everything, from names, places, snippets of conversations to descriptions of people I may use.

Some are from pure imagination and real life experiences but I am also increasingly finding that many ideas are coming from other people's real life experiences.

My ideas come from people that I chat with on line. Of course the themes are topics that already interest me but it's the varied views that get my mind into areas that I might not have thought about. Longer chats bring out more honesty.

I usually think of experiences I have had, then weave things into a story. Most of my works are pure fiction with a nuance of reality tossed in. Now, my poems just come from a word that grabs me at the time I am sitting down with a cup of tea.

Like many others have stated, my stories just come to me. I can be in a store, working or reading the news and something will spark an idea.

One of my stories came from a dream. Several have incidents from my life, but a great many come about in an evidently different way from what I've read here. I'll go on the internet and look for a specific type of porno, scan through dozens of video clips and photos and for some unknown reason suddenly something will attract my attention and spark an idea. Some are just a germ of an idea, and others are very close to the clip, but with enough changes as to make it come out unrecognizable.
