Authors : What are you working on?

As usual, I have several irons in the fire simultaneously. Besides working on the Anti-Valentine comp story for Lush and the NOLA comp story for SS, I am also working on the next part of several series I have going. I'm also cleaning up my flash drive by completing partially finished stories. I was on couch rest most of January, so I have been writing up a storm. Check out my stories here:

I just recycled 5,789 bytes worth of failed micros. Does that count as work?

I feel like I'm going around the world. I've written stories involving a female lover (of mine or a male protagonist) from the USA, Japan, Eastern Europe, Scandanavia, Argentina, The UK, an unidentified likely Western European location in the Middle Ages, and most recently a Persian. Next one in the works: a medical student from India.

And I have outlines for a trio of "flash" stories based on photos I've come across in the Groups; another one (probably 2 parts) where a guy and gal meet at a resort at a time when their spouses aren't in any condition to 'meet their needs'; and a hopefully-unique lusting-after-colleague-on-video-call vignette.

That's all I have actually started writing or outlining, but I have about 5 more ideas that I keep developing in my head during drives or dog walks, including resolving the issue of the Argentine lady needing to stop by and pick up the boots she left behind on our Church Work Day.

Beth, a new story about entrapment and humiliation.

I'm working on the next Chapter of my Teen story set in 1953, where a glamorous actress from Scotland (portrayed by Elizabeth Sellars, 1921-2019) has an intense romance with a 16-year-old lad from Quebec City.

I'm about to introduce a new character and I have to make sure that this teen girl is not being groomed by the priests she's been living with, otherwise it won't be allowed and I'll have to introduce her differently. It must be clear that she's actually enjoying being there and not being restrained in any way.

Writing an "on the road story" in the golden age of roadside motels is quite a thrill. There were no freeways; it was all two-lane roads and the cars usually had manual shifts with a three-on-the-tree lever near the wheel. The cars were still about the same size as in the late 1940s with similar motors; they didn't got supersized yet.

Women mostly wore dresses or skirts, but there were pants too. The white gloves put a nice touch of style. The teenage lad is wearing a suit and a fedora hat; teenagers often dressed the same as adults, especially when they were 16 and up. Other than that, I'm putting some cultural details that only French Canadians are truly familiar with.

My favorite parts are when Elizabeth gets helped out of her clothes.

Working on a story about how my wife and I met and our first play time with our very close friends Ruby and Grey. Hope to have it finished soon as I haven't submitted a story for a long time now.

My series. I'm filling in the first parts of the story I skipped over and it's taking me forever. I took a break for the recent competition to give me some variety, but I'm back on my next chapter. But, I barely have time to get it done though, with two disabled children, the youngest on a 2 year medical trial for experimental treatment, and the other now with a broken leg with a full cast😢 Once I get used to my new normal, I'll get back to it.

Lately I have been delving into my shadow side, not completely dark. Ideas swirling around in my head involving cemeteries, the struggle between the dark and light, another trip to the underworld and so on. At the moment ideas aren’t finding traction within my imagination. I am determined to elevate my writing, spending more time exploring character detail and the evolution of themes. I am also determined to keep sex within my writing natural rather than an obligatory grunt and groan.

Can anyone tell me what distinguishes “preternatural” from “supernatural”? Are they different words for the same thing?

They are generally used synonymously in day-to-day speech but there can be technical differences. According to Wiki, for instance, theologians may differentiate between them with "preternatural" being "marvels or deceptive trickery" associated with witchcraft and the like while "supernatural" refers to divine actions of genuine transcendent power.

I seem to be called towards longer pieces these days - started a story for the punk contest, but I think it's going to turn into a bigger 'harem' thing where some dumb lucky bastard fucks his way through a series of different scenarios with different women all centered around a shitty punk band. We'll see where that idea goes, and if it ever sees the light of day. I've got another idea, probably even less fleshed out, but also begun, in which a group of film students form a school club to make an amateur (but cinematic) porn movie.

Finally, I had an idea for a body-swap fantasy story. That one's a little tricky, but I figured I'd give it a shot, even though I imagine I'll completely fuck up the characters' voices. I'm writing from the first person perspective of a woman as a man encountering their former male bully in possession of their own body. For some reason, I thought it would be easier than taking the opposite perspective (I'll wait while you work that one out). This story will probably be a one-off, and be ready sooner than the others.

I've submitted, what I hope is the first of, group of stories about the relationship between 2 trans women. It's an idea that's been living rent free in my head for a few months. What happens between them. Exploring their kinks and the dynamics of them and others they invite into their lives.

Looking at:

• Forced orgasm while maintaining an outward appearance of normality. eg: blowjob while on a call

• Sex scenes exploring the physical and sensual dynamics of 2 trans women in different settings

• Introducing a 3rd party. Sub and Dom play

• BDSM nightclub

As a cis man exploring the sexual desires of trans women is tricky. I hope a lot of reading of stories written by women is helping. For simplicity and my own preferences there will a splash of male perspective when it comes to the sex. It is, after all, a story for me.

Being a first time writer it's a tall order but I hope story telling experience in visual mediums will help.

Right now I have:

• Long, character-driven story for here

The latter is for a category that I usually avoid, so I might do a rewrite at some point if I get uncomfortable with it.

Cleaning up the mess I made wadding up my latest attempts at writing. I am at a dead end for the moment.

After a request for a more personal story, that’s what’s coming. It’s been an interesting and therapeutic process. My husband’s recollections of ‘old me’ are fascinating, embarrassing and lovely, all at once, and I’m trying to weave that into the tale. It charts our first meeting through to ‘new me’ emerging, with many, many gaps, which can always be filled in later. It’s the hardest thing I’ve written, so I hope it turns out OK.

Oh boy, so many partly completed stories.

Part Five of Midlife Renewal is just about ready to publish, except I want to finish six and seven so they can follow on fairly closely. That will round out my “deck weekend” of discovery with Rick, though at least four more stories may follow given the popularity of the series among the site’s bi male community.

At least three more chapters of Dating Daphne; the first two I published were in Watersports, but the others will not be.

I have concepts and plot outlines for at least four more chapters that more or less follow my Dick Job comp entry and precede Pork By Northwest, though I can’t formally include those as part of a series since they were in competition. Like those two, these will be filled with bad jokes and gags, but the themes will be other than dicks or pigs. Not many words written yet, so it may be a long time.

This week I got inspired to start The Beginning of the Affair, yet another exploration of affection between two men, trying to cover emotional dimensions and building of sexual tension before consummation.. In this tale, an old friend I haven’t seen in years asks me out. Like, on a date. At least, I think he just did. It will turn out that we are having rough patches in our marriages, and maybe what we both need right now is each other. Thinking of making this a series of 3-4 short, flash-length chapters. Well, the last one might be a little longer.

There’s also Boss Vegas, a sizzling convention story in which I run into TWO female former bosses. That one’s been in the hopper for at least ten years, but I’m trying to bump it up closer to the top.

I should get back to my series, but I can't figure out the opening. Might skip over the opening, write the rest of the chapter then come back to the beginning. Really want to get the next two/three chapters finished so I can get back to the recent events and post the hot pool scene.

Also then I can fix my chapter numbering because having several chapter 4's is confusing as heck.

I have one for the 'First Time' category for next week. Between 2-2.5K words surrounding a woman who's never had seed in her mouth.

Next draft I am looking to edit is a MILF story. Trying to attack more categories this year and forward.

Not a damn thing.

I did finish and publish the body swap story (https://www.lushstories.com/stories/supernatural/texas-toast), and I've started what will probably be the closest I'll ever get to an ' ' story: the college-aged step-daughter of the step sister of the wife of the middle-aged, sexually frustrated protagonist. It'll also be a long one. I'm 5K words into the first draft so far, just setting the scene, introducing characters, foreshadowing, and building the tension. If I can keep the word count under 10k, I might actually publish it one day. We'll see how it goes.

Writing a threesome story that brings back the characters from Rekindled. It will be fairly standalone, though. Matt and Leigh enjoy their first threesome is the short version. There will be a plot twist of some kind, too, just haven't figured out what it is.

While I continue to write daily, I'm afraid I've lost the will to post here. Perhaps things will change in future and there will be a lead-tipped resurrection. In the mean time, few hearts will be broken.

I don't normally write too much in the summer months as I like to be out there doing "stuff." However, this year I had some unexpected time to re-write the first two chapters of my next book - "Clare." Working on this is my main project, but I have also written a very rough draft of a stand-alone story, working titled "A Good Life" and two untitled micro-fiction stories, which I can't make out if they are stories or just a collection of words. I doubt I will ever post these as they're meant to be just a fun exercise, but we see.

Finally, I wrote a poem or maybe it is two poems (I might split it). It needs more work, but there is a good chance I post this sometime in the distant future.

Rewriting all chapters 4 to 9 of "Defying Customs". I take it as a series of writing exercises, removing stuff that isn't needed while highlighting what's important to the characters. There are a couple of instances where my teenage lad "reloads his gun" a little bit too fast before round two; he's young, but not superhuman, and my story is not a parody.

The setting is great and the basic idea is sound; a glamorous actress on a leisure trip who takes a much younger lover from a strict Catholic upbringing, during the golden age of roadside motels.

What do I want to achieve for me and the readers? A sexy journey in bygone days and the feeling of being there.

I've been challenged to turn the last story I published here into a novella. I'm fleshing out the characters more in-depth and adding an origin story or two. I haven't figured out how to weave it together yet.

I dusted off an old story I wrote on the blue site (or aqua) and decided to rewrite it, adding some things to it, and part of that may make its way over to this site.

I've been working on my website, and it's finally up and running. There you'll find out more of what I'm up to when I'm not trying to become the next Toni Morrison or Zane.

I quit writing.

I will return to it, soon probably, but I need to stop and watch the world go by and store up some ideas.
