The Meg... Paid $3 for it on Prime and still feel ripped off... Terrible film, terrible dialog, second rate acting.
Crazy Rich Asians.
Battleship
Riddick
Kissing your lips while straddling your lap.

Terrible title, terrible poster. Bad marketing overall.

The movie itself is pretty fucking good. Extremely realistic. Not all drug addicts are living in the streets. This is a pretty good representation of a young addict.

I don't think that Steve Carell should get any nominations, but Chalomet is very believable.

And Chadwick Boseman is an outstanding actor. He was fabulous in Get On Up and 42.

Hey, and Boseman hails from the region of the country I come from. He has fast become one of my favorite actors.
The Wave (2008) German film and very thought provoking

Much like my reaction to Avengers: IW, I liked but didn't love this. I thought it was kind of soulless, and I was seriously tired of all the CGI by the end. I thought the book was fun and original and energetic, and while the movie had its high points (the Iron Giant!) I thought it left much of what made the book worthwhile out of the story.

Maybe I'm just old and cranky.

actually, i agree. it was fun, and entertaining and kind of forgetable.

GO SEE THE SPIDER-VERSE MOVIE! IT IS AWESOME!

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Braveheart, while eating hot, buttered popcorn and cherry Twizzlers.

I can not believe how much I loved this! Best superhero movie imo. Marvel just get it so right in comparison to DC. Bloody brilliant!

I agree! It was fantastic!
A clockwork orange. Didn't rate it.
Beautiful Boy
The Dark Crystal
Kissing your lips while straddling your lap.
Gremlins 2 - the best sequel
Shaun of the Dead - A British Zombie Comedy movie. It was kind of stupid but it was one of those movies that I laughed more after I saw it when I remembered some of the scenes than while watching it.
Ipcress File one of Michael Caine's Harry Palmer movies

So boring... Maybe I just don't like space stuff. And is it just me? Or does Claire Foy look terrible with short hair?
Mary Poppins Returns....for me, every bit as good as Mary Poppins and I can't wait to go back and see it again

I'd have enjoyed Mary Poppins far more without Dick Van . His is the worst Cockney accent I have ever heard. I will check out Mary Poppins Returns as soon as I can. IF you promise he's not in it. Oh crap. I just looked and he is.

Looks like we're in for a nasty spell of wether.

What are you talking about? his accent is perfect! that's what all english people sound like, right?

Mary Poppins Returns. I enjoyed it for the most part. I loved Emily Blunt, was iffy on Lin-Manual Miranda, but overall I think they tried too hard to recreate the magic of the original. I was so looking forward to it and like i said I enjoyed it, but the music was pretty forgettable. I didn't walk out humming any of the tunes and after two minutes in the car, I couldn't even bring any of the tunes to mind.

How many times have you seen Mary Poppins in your lifetime? Its pretty easy to have songs in your head, from a movie, when you have seen the movie and heard the music several times. It can be difficult to accurately compare two movies, when you have seen one movie, one time, and you have seen the other one multiple times. See the movie again, and pay more attention to the music this time and see if there aren't a couple of songs that you take with you.

It's not just MP, but I love music and when I walk out of a movie with good music, I am humming or singing it on the way home -- even after just one viewing. I might not have the words down cold, but I have the melody and often the choruses. The music from this new movie just did not make an impression, not even Lin-Manual's little rap -- and you should heard me leaving Hamilton! I thought my GF was going to kill me on the way home, I couldn't stop myself with that music, and I am not a fan of rap :-)

I agree, if a movie has it, it grabs you on the first go-round. Little Shop of Horrors - Feed Me and Suddenly Seymour. My Fair Lady - the lines "In 'artford, 'ereford and 'ampshire, 'urricanes 'ardly ever 'appen," and "Come on Dover, move your bloomin' arse," plus the song Just You Wait, 'enry 'iggins, Just You Wait. Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines, the title song.

If you aren't at least humming something on your way out of the cinema you probably won't go back.

Come hell or high water. Good movie. Chris Pine and Jeff Bridges are great on it.
