1) The Conjuring
2) Iron Man 3
3) Django Unchained
4) Star Trek - Into the Darkness
Of ones I've seen.
My favorite may be Star Trek Into Darkness.
The best overall movie by far this year, so far, has been Mud. And actually, it really was incredibly entertaining.
Hands down it has to be "The Conjuring"
I think ive only seen 5 movies this year....Killing them softly, Iron Man 3, Star Trek: into darkness,Man of Steel and Elysium...so im going with
Man of Steel
Johnny took me to see Fast & Furious 6, I don't usually like them movies but I like that one, and then I went with one of my girlfriends to see The Great Gasby, I enjoyed it.
Pretty weak year for movies so far... Traditionally, October, November and December tend to have the best movies of the year coming out, so we'll see.
I did find a movie called, This is the End to be hilarious though. Deeper than a typical comedy with good special effects to boot.
*I have yet to see Sophia Coppola's Bling Ring though, as it didn't play in my area. Bizarre, since she spent most of her coming of age years in my fucking home town. Assholes.
I would say toss up between Django Unchained or Pacific Rim. They were both very good for different reasons.
Man of Steel or Fast and Furious 6!! And Conjuring!!
For the fifteenth consecutive year: Air Bud. The artful original, you philistines. Not the derivative money-grabbing sequels.
Django Unchained, Man of Steel, and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters . . .so far.
Definitely The Conjuring.
Elysium was almost a masterpiece so I have to go with that.
12 Years as A Slave
I also loved The Internship!
Iron Man 3 was excellent.
Django... And The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
The To-Do List was amazing (I'm an Aubrey Plaza addict, though).
I also really enjoyed Now You See Me and Oz The Great and Powerful!
Captain Phillips was mine. Surprisingly emotional.
But I reserve the right to come back here tomorrow with Catching Fire. I hope it lives up to my expectations.
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill. Lincoln.
Great cinematography elevated by Day-Lewis' brilliant acting chops.
And Abe was one of my favourite American Presidents to study. (FDR comes in a close second though!)
Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity, Gravity.
300 Rise of an Empire.
I haven't gone to many movies this year.
I can't recall the ones I did.
But this is wayyyyy better than I thought it would be.
