Stumbling upon the first book in The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy by Anne Rice when I was a kid and DEVOURING it had a profound impact on me. I didn't read the other two books until recently but they were every bit just as good. Otherwise, I alternate between being a scifi/fantasy geek and a classics nerd. My favorites among these: the LotR Trilogy, Candide, and The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

I actually don't think I've ready any one author extensively enough to say he/she is my favorite... Oh wait, JRR Tolkien
and Anne Rice as A. N. Roquelaure but not Anne Rice, herself.

Huge Woody Allen fan here. I have a strange crush on that guy -_-
Favorite Music
I can't live without my iPod. I have a broad taste when it comes to music. Jazz is my go to genre. I prefer the acoustic stuff to the electric/fusion stuff. Hence, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Canonball Aderley, Art Blakey, and early Herbie Hancock. I also listen to a lot of Led Zep and sometimes listen to Tangerine on loop. I consider John Mayer a musical genius and a guitar god. And of course, my picks from the Indie Rock Playlist.
