Karen answered the phone. She told Lee to be quiet, but he just couldn't be that quiet. So Scott heard something in the back ground. Scott asked her about it and she just told him about Lee. So she busted him on the fact that he was cheating as well with his sectary. So they decided to talk about this when he came home. So Karen and Lee hugged and kissed each other. Then he left and came over to my house to tell me what was going on.

“I think they are talking about it right now,” Lee said.

“And he just heard something in the back ground and she just came clean, why?” I asked.

“Well, I think we're in love with each other honestly. I know we've only been going at this for a few weeks now, but I think we're really in love,” Lee replied.

“No shit. Wow I got to say I didn't see that coming. So you are just cuddling there after sex and the phone rings?” Jack asked.

“Yes,” Lee replied.

Then I think Lee felt ashamed. He could be responsible for breaking up a marriage, even though they were obviously both unhappy.

“Well don't yourself up. Shit happens. He was already cheating on her and from what I've heard, he's a prick. So it's not like you broke up the perfect marriage,” Jack said.

“I know dude, I still feel like shit though,” Lee replied.

Then I came over to him and comforted him a little like a good sister. I hugged him and we sat together for a few minutes. We patiently waited for Karen to call us and tell us what happened exactly. But we were also worried something bad would happen as well. Scott had never been abusive, but he was an asshole though, so we weren't sure if he would hit her or not. Even though Lee was the one helping her cheat, I still felt bad for him, because once you fall in love, it's not just sex anymore.

“Well when did you come to the conclusion that you two were in love?” I asked.

“Right after sex, we were cuddling and talking. And I told her first. I've been afraid of breaking out the 'L' word too quickly quite a few times before. But I just felt it. So I told her. I don't know if that will affect this one way or another. But I guess we'll see,” Lee replied.

Then I gave him yet another hug. I think Jack really admired how close Lee and I were even when we're adults. We both sparked a couple tears.

“Well don't cry, you are going to make me cry sis,” Lee said.

“I know but I can't help it. I think you are really feeling the love for her now. I felt it for Jack years ago. Granted we weren't in this kind of situation, but still. And you are my little brother. I've been looking after you for your whole life now. And it makes me sad that you are sad. So I can't help it,” I replied.

“Thanks sis,” Lee said.

Then a few minutes later, my phone rang.

“Oh it's Karen,” I said.

Then I answered the phone.

“So how tense are things over there now?” Karen asked.

“It could be more tense I guess. So what's going on now? Lee gave us some idea. But we need you to fill in some of the blanks,” I replied.

“Well, I'm going to come over and tell all of you what's up. Is it OK if I bring John too?” Karen asked.

“Yes of course. But are you sure you are OK? I mean you sound OK. But going through something, like that, you can't just be OK,” I replied.

“I promise I'm fine. I'll be over there in about 20 minutes or so,” Karen said.

“OK see you then,” I replied.

Then we both hung up. I wasn't sure how to feel honestly. She sounded fine. But I guess 'sounded' was the key word there. So I told them what was going on.

“She seems fine. She wasn't crying or anything like that. She said she was fine. So I guess we'll find out in 20 minutes now. I'm not sure what to think right now,” I said.

“OK then. She didn't sound distressed or anything like that?” Jack asked.

“No, I got nothing. I mean she gave me nothing. So I guess we just need to be patient for a little while,” I replied.

“OK then. What about John?” Lee asked.

“She's bringing him with her. For all I know she could be on her way ready to move in. I literally have no idea how it went. You'd think her not sounding pissed off would be good, but she gave me nothing,” I replied.

So we just waited for a little while longer. And it took about 40 minutes after we hung up, that she finally showed up. She was carrying John and seemed happy still. So didn't ask her a million questions. We just let her come out with it on her own.

“Where's Jessica?” Karen asked.

“In her room playing,” Jack replied.

“John why don't you go play with Jessica for a little while?” Karen asked.

“OK mommy, I love you,” John replied.

“I love you too little guy,” Karen said.

Then they hugged each other for a minute and then John ran to Jessica's room. Karen took a very deep breath.

“Well, to put it simply. Scott and I are getting a divorce. It's been more than a long time coming now,” Karen said.

“Just like that though? I mean what happened exactly?” Jack asked.

“Well, I don't know exactly what Lee told you, but Scott called when we were together, and Scott heard something in the back ground. So, basically I said fuck it. I had something very special with Lee. And we are about 99% sure that we are in love with each other now. So I busted Scott too and I told him I even had proof. I didn't tell him about the P.I. though. So he said we'd talk about it when he got home. I guess he left early; he usually doesn't get home until like 6:00. So anyway he came home and really I think in the end, he knew I had more cards than he did. I could always say I didn't have sex with Lee,” Karen replied.

“Well OK what happened after that? Obviously nothing horrible happened considering you are not in tears or have bruises,” I said.

“Well I'm a little surprised it didn't get like that. Not that I wanted it to get physical. I just showed him the picture and I guess he felt like absolute dog shit for the first time ever. I never ever saw him with the look he had on his face. Regret. So we both admitted we didn't love each other anymore. It was nothing more than just a relationship held together by John. So I asked him for a divorce. Keep in mind he really doesn't have much of a hand to play. So he willingly agreed. And I agreed to at least give him joint custody of John too. He said he'd stay at a friend's house for a few days. And I knew Lee would come over here and tell you what was going on,” Karen replied.

“Wow, shit. But is that what you want though?” Jack asked.

“Yes honestly. I mean, I know you actually didn't spend a lot of time with Scott. I'm not saying that's anyone's fault, I understand you had to work a lot. But now I have actual proof that he wasn't working late on at least one occasion. So I guess what I'm trying to say is that none of you really knew him as the asshole he was.

And he was a huge asshole. I don't think he was ever sweet to me. If anything, it was during the first few months right before I got pregnant. I got pregnant not too long after I met him. So maybe this is my own fault a little,” Karen replied.

“Wait, no. It's not your fault. You gave him a child and you were the one that mainly raised John, what more do you have to do for him to treat you like a wife and not a maid that raises his kid for him?” I asked.

“I don't know honestly. But it still wasn't quite right. It just feels different now it's all said and done. So that's pretty much it,” Karen replied.

Then we all still weren't completely sure how to feel. She felt a little bad, but not heartbroken though. Was that good or bad? No one really knew. And did this mean that Lee and Karen were exclusive?

“Well, I'm just asking what we're all thinking. So where does that leave you two?” Jack asked.

I don't think Karen really thought about that. But on the other hand, I think Lee had been thinking about that, but didn't want to say anything because he didn't want to be insensitive.

“Well, are you ready to take this to the next level?” Karen asked Lee.

“Well I know I want to be with you, so yes,” Lee replied.

“Are you sure this is want you want. Obviously you can see you'd be walking into a relationship with someone that has a lot of baggage,” Karen said.

Then he just hugged her and kissed her too.

“Never more ready honestly,” Lee replied.

Then they kissed again. Then it was as official as it could get. This was a done deal. Karen and Scott had both signed the divorce papers. Neither one of them were happy with each other. So why not really? So once they were divorced Scott was kind of forced to give Karen the house. But he still got joint custody of John of course. And they both got to keep their own cars. So over the next few weeks Lee moved into Karen's house. From then on they kept a good relationship. Got along great. Lee was great with John. And they never felt weird about the age difference. So they had been living together for about 6 months at that point. And we always made sure to visit every now and again.

“So how have you been doing?” I asked.

“Horrible,” Lee replied.

“He is kidding. You are the worst comedian though, seriously,” Karen said.

“Bleep you,” Lee replied.

“You see? What comedian says 'bleep'?” Karen asked.

“And we got something to show you,” Lee said.

“What?” Jack asked.

Then Karen lifted up her hand and we saw an engagement ring on Karen's finger.

“Well, shit. Again I didn't see that coming,” Jack said.

“Congratulations, when the hell did this happen?” I asked.

“Last night,” Karen replied.

I was a little stunned honestly. They were getting hitched already? Why? So I had to ask the question that we were both thinking.

“Are you pregnant?” I asked.

“Yes,” Karen replied.

And then we were more stunned. They moved in together, got engaged and now they were pregnant too?

“Wow, a couple of bombshells. You couldn't have just dropped one and waited a few weeks to drop the other on us?” I asked.

“And you would have really wanted us to wait to drop the other?” Lee asked.

“No, but that's not the point. I'm happy and can't think straight right now, shit. Well, I 100% did not see that coming. Maybe one or the other in a couple months, but not both now,” I replied.

“Well both have happened sis,” Lee said.

“Well good for you two. But did you propose before or after?” I asked.

“Before Sherlock,” Lee replied.

“Just asking,” I said.

Then we decided to go out for dinner to celebrate. So we went to a nice place, but not too nice. We took the kids too. We made the trip out there and parked. Then we went in and got a table.

“Well, I'm so hungry,” Karen said.

“Good,” Lee replied.

Then we ordered the food. But then seeing them made Jack and I a little horny.

“Well we're go to the bathroom for a couple minutes,” Jack said.

I think Lee and Karen knew what we were doing, but couldn't prove anything. So we quickly went over to the bathroom. We went in the men’s room and went to one of the stalls.

“Wow, I can't fucking believe it honestly. They are pregnant and engaged? How the fuck did that happen?” I asked.

“Is that a rhetorical question?” Jack asked.

“Yes, now stick that dick inside me,” I replied.

Then he undid his pants and pulled his dick out too. I pulled down my underwear and pulled up my dress. Then as we were both standing on the toilet he stuck it inside me.

“We'll see about that,” Jack said.

I told him during public bathroom sex. But he was still really happy. I didn't mean to tell him like that, but it just kind of happened.

Maybe that was it. It's the sexy things like that along with getting her coffee or whatever else. Then we finished up and came out of the bathroom. We didn't tell them for a about a week, we let them have the spotlight for a little while. Then when we did tell them, they were happy for us of course. And our due dates were only actually a few days apart. They got married about a month later. They had their baby first about 7 ½ months later and we had ours about a week later. Then we were two couple that were best friends it seemed. We had cookouts and a bunch of other shit together. Sometimes affairs are for the best, because they are happily married. So I guess the moral here is don't be so quick to judge.
