Rose and Lily were seventeen and were identical twins. They had exactly the same face, with long dark hair tied into a bun with the same full fringe, and they loved dressing in the same clothes as each other, which meant literally no one could tell them apart. 

Both had started work when sixteen, preferring that to remaining in education.
