She wipes her chin while I zip myself up, cleaning away the few droplets that passed her lips. I take her file folder, tuck it under my arm, and open the storage room door while she puts on her panties and straightens her skirt. I smile at the two women I pass in the hall. They smile back, exchanging knowing glances with each other when the receptionist steps into the hallway.

“There is an opening in accounting,” one offers to her.

“Not anymore,” she replies with a sly grin.

They nod at each other and carry on.
