I am more beast than man

I growled with each stroke

under the cover of darkness

our souls entwine as she

awakens

Not from slumber

but a euphoric trance

We live dangerously

Tempting fate

her not so innocent mind 

and sensually lit body

has become my

preferred hunting ground

Should she leave it to chance

to find her lover

from out of the darkness

draped in night?

Never

for within my stealthy advance

now that she is

within my snare

together

we will soar

in unison

High above into the

Midnight sky
