The sun gave a sixty minute farewell performance, low in the sky sliding sideways
It reddened and as shadows lengthened my lover joined me
From golf to ochre and then chilli-pepper red
The night sky became dark and thousands of diamonds sparkled in the sky
Yet nothing compared to my lovers face
The sparkle of her eyes
Her glistening hair
The smile that adorned such wondrous lips bowed and curved touched with a gloss sheen
My fingers reaching out
Caressed her cheek
Her soft warmth
Making my heart beat faster
We kissed first gently
Then passion and lust danced
Our bodies writhed in rhythmic ecstasy
In the moon light
My universe was born
