In the end I fell so easily
Walls tumbled
With gleeful innocence
As chaos reigned capriciously
Tangled limbs, tangled hearts
Wants unmasked
Each acceptance draws me further in
The web braided with fate's red string
She laughs as she watches
But I know the ways of fate
As I make shapes with her strings
My heart is not diluted for being fuller
I’d rather fill it with love
I will give no regard to the masses
I will not be judged by them
I hold to no doctrine
I make no claim to perfection
But should they tell me of their lives
I will speak of mine
I’ll tell them I was a queen
A ruler
I’ll tell them of my loves
I’ll tell them of you
Look for love where you can
It does not lessen what is
Life is not always good or beautiful
It is not always kind
So fill it with love
And me?
My heart will love who it loves
With no regard
