If I were a poet,I would pen for you the poem of ages, words from perfection itself, flowing from paper to your heart, carrying the awe of my love
If I were a painter,I would create for you the lover’s work, the universe would be my canvas, for only the entirety of creation, could hope to contain my love
If I were a writer,I would author for you the final epic, the end all of literary masterpieces, for only something so great, could begin to convey my love
If I were a songwriter,I would compose the ultimate score,a symphony of love and beauty, music that danced in your spirit,an eternal echo of my love
If I were a philosopher,I would form for you the thinker’s wonder,a tome of truth to dispel all fear, for in that absolute truth, would ring my unquestionable love
But I am none of these, merely a lonely and remorseful soul, with so much love to give you,and learning that by tomorrow, there could be no more ifs
