When I think of her

The world fades away.

I can feel her skydust eyes

Staring deep inside my soul.

I want to tell her everything 

Hidden inside my heart

But all I can do is stare in awe;

My breath caught in my throat.

She smiled, I melted

I am putty in her hands.

It only took a wink

A second of our time

And it was then I knew

Our souls were meant to be.

Promise me forever, I murmur 

And I will not want for anyone else.

For she is the one that matters,

The treasure I had thought lost.
