Colors of the season for some

Agree or not, just get what I mean
Symbols are just that to more than one

Snowflakes, bells, crosses and creches
Meaning to some but not to others

Holiday/Christmas lights, parties and dresses
Friends, laughter, love, hatred can't smother

Isn't now the best time, is another better
Give a kiss, a hug, share a laugh or two

Santa, Christmas, miracles, they are all just letters
Putting aside differences for now and just love for you

A gift we need to share, maybe we just need an excuse
So use this time of year to care and to love, make sure that you do

For time passes quickly, don't let it go, you'll only lose
