Just thought that I would,
Take a moment and write
This very special poem,
For that special someone in my life.

Looking back it was only just a year ago,
Sitting in the pub minding our own business 
Not knowing that just around the corner
That we would bump into one another 
Total strangers that hadn’t even met.

From that very first moment,
That we first met I just knew
That we was meant to be.

Just thinking about it looking back,
Onto that day sitting in that pub
As I gaze across the room
That was the moment when
 I first laid my eyes on her.

There was this very beautiful girl,
With shoulder length brunette hair
With a beautiful smile that,
Could send shivers to your spine.

I knew from that very moment,
The thing that I wanted and that was her
I was scared and nervous 
Hoping that when I make my move
I wouldn’t have my
Heart broken when I approach.

It was the best decision that I had made,
When I made that decision to approach 
Asking if she would like a drink
When she smiled and said yes
I knew from that very moment
That she felt the same way.

Looking back I was never,
That type of guy that would just
Go running after just any girl but
If I knew that she was the one 
I would have to just drop everything 
And go for what I wanted.

That was just what I did,
When I first saw her
I just had to go after the thing
That I  wanted and lusted after
And that was this girl that I just met.

Knowing that if and when,
I would fall in love with someone 
Knowing that with my big heart
I would fall for someone big time.

My love for her,
Will just never die
Because she is 
My soul, my heart
I have this feeling that
Our love for each other
Will grow stronger each day.

I will always be there for her,
Whenever she will need me
I will move mountains 
Just to be with her.

Whenever I look at her,
I just know that we could 
Share our secrets 
Share the dreams we had
That we could make come true.

Can’t believe that I found this girl, 
That is so very beautiful 
Very sweet just like sugar
Couldn’t believe that she
Wanted to be with me
As she was just so perfect.

I took her by the hand,
We danced under stars
With the golden sand between our toes
With her favourite song
Playing as we danced.

I knew from that moment,
That I would love her
Every single moment 
Of every day that we would be together
Counting my blessings that it will last.

I love you so much,
My heart beats so fast that
I faint  wait to be with you 
From the moment that  I leave work
To travel home.

I make sure that I get her,
A very special gift each time 
I come home to her
To show her a token
Of my love for her.

There’s just this
One last thing 
Will you be my valentine.
