My head rests
On your tender leg,
Naked and soft
Amongst a bed of green.
Butterflies flutter about
Landing all around us,
So sweet, so innocent.
Anticipation fills the air
As your fingers graze
Along my pale freckled canvas.
A shiver runs up my spine.
I try not to giggle
And ruin this moment,
This intensity,
This fire,
Erupting within me.
Rippling through you.
I reach up,
Lifting my head close to yours.
There is softness against
My lips
As we kiss.
