The warmth of her in the stillness
My flesh against hers, my head resting on her breasts,
Cloud filtered moonlight dimly lighting the room
Drizzling drops of rain in Seattle
Continually tapping against our window
A perfect accompaniment to the beating of my lover` s heart.
My lullaby, my solace of calm
As I watch the shadows of the rain drops
Dance against her skin
Starting out separate, the merging one into the other
Eventually becoming one,
I envy the process
Something so simple, yet powerful in meaning
Two separate entities that become a whole
Almost instantaneously without forethought
I find myself wishing for that ability
To become part of her.
To melt, connect and be absorbed by her,
To become part of her soul
Tears fill my eyes at the very thought,
Lying beside him is never enough
I ache to be inside her,
I wonder if even that, could ever be close enough
That of becoming one.
I love you!
