My thoughts, tied as they are
Bizarre little creatures
Sneaking and seizing as they must
Prideful and Prejudice
Others not so much
I know not why
Gossamer web they do weave
Try they must to deceive
Love permeates the immoral scene
Like foggy sheen
Spoiling their devious dream
She deserves more
Much more than I
Her moral lips
Outstrips my desire
Quenching my internal fire
I’m caught in my own thoughts
Clearly now I do see
She is worth more to me
My thoughts no longer free
Looking deep into her eyes
A tear dropped as if to reply
Fall it must
On the sand of time
Shining it’s glory
Creating a pearl
My thoughts begin to swirl
Unfurling on life’s ocean
Sailing together on God’s magnificent seas
Two lovers now adore and appease
What God has in store
On some distant shore
Unite two lovers once more
