Lying together with you
the realization was sudden and overwhelming,
the very first time my eyes truly beheld you.
Beautiful enough to make roses jealous
and refuse to bloom in your presence.
Trembling and with tears in my eyes
I reached out to touch you
to prove to my heart that you are real
and not a shadow of my dreams of perfection.
Tentatively my fingertip brushes your face
tracing the contours of your cheek
to rest behind your ear and cup the back of your head
pulling your face to me to finally taste your lips
and claim you as mine.
Contented sighs fill the room
as greedy hands rush to uncover
the treasures we are eager to share.
All in the effort to become so close
as to be unable to distinguish
where one body ends and the other begins.
Touching in that way for the very first time.
Clinging to each other
as our fingers leave red furrows
coverng where our hands clutched desperately at each other
as we struggled to climb to the summit of our passion.
Then like two pieces of a puzzle
we finally touch that way for the very first time.
And our eyes locked as time stood still.
My chest tightens as if an elephant were sitting on it
and my heart beats like a trip-hammer.
Your ankles cross over the small of my back
holding me tight to you as you froze like that.
Your muscles milking me your only movement.
Each ripple forcing the breath from my lungs.
Our fingers lace as I pin your arms over your head,
the beat of our hearts keeping time between your thighs.
An eternity passes between us
before you break our gaze to crane your neck
and sharply sink your teeth into my shoulder.
The grip of your legs tightens at my back
and despite your slickness you managed
to continue to hold me in place.
Suddenly your moans quicken and fill my ears
as wave after wave of heat radiates between us
causing me to scream in ecstasy with you
as I flood you with my love.
And we find paradise together
in each other's arms for the very first time.
Smiling together as it dawn's on us
that we have a lifetime of next times ahead of us.
