Nope, my first was a lot more experienced than me and she set the whole night up to be perfect. She was on the pill and didn't even worry about it, I mentioned it to her before and she was basically just like "hey if you really want to you can" but when the night finally came it didn't even come up. Oddly for me though, my first time she was on the end of her period so that was a bit of a shock for me haha.
