As Olivia states, a primary reason is sperm competition, and that is certainly the case for me. I, personally, have no desire to be humiliated or to engage in male to male contact (but if you do, go for it). The sexual experience is most intense (for both of us) when my wife and I invite a male friend into the bedroom.
