I am here, mainly, to read. Perhaps, some day, I will develop the courage to write. I doubt it, though.

Interests
Most of the Story categories here. I also like physics (at least as presented by popularizers), and Astronomy. I am mathematically illiterate, but I enjoy science very much as far as I can follow it.

Favorite Books
All the Diskworld series. I especially love the Tiffany Aching books. All of Douglas Adams. Many, many more.

Favorite Authors
Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, PG Wodehouse, John Le Carre ... Yuck, I just realized all my favorite authors are English and dead.

Favorite Movies
Many. If I like something, I will watch it several times. M was a remarkable film. It's even older than I am. A great story, although ruined by a soppy ending. If a film is Extraordinarily good and deeply disturbing (like the Pawnbroker or Midnight Cowboy), I can only watch it once.

Favorite TV Shows
I enjoyed Queen's Gambit, Workin' Moms, The first season of The Good Place, Farscape, Serenity. Netflix is just magnificent, there is usually something worthwhile.

Favorite Music
Mostly groups you've never heard of. For example, Tonto's Expanding Head Band and Procol Harum. I'm very old, you see. I once even owned a Frank Sinatra album. Ask a grandparent who he was. Don't forget to ask what an album was, as well.
