I write a lot of stories about the wife-sharing lifestyle. It is ALWAYS her choice. If she doesn't want to, then your best choice is to recognize that this one aspect of your relationship is in the past and celebrate the fact that she continues to love you in spite of that reality. She is devoted and dedicate to you and your relationship. See that and be joyful. Let her decide what makes her happy and commit to fulfilling her needs as they exist currently rather than in the past or in your own imagination.

I'm going with biology. Fidelity is a construct of morality, a social construct designed to provide support for women and children. As this need has declined with the emancipation of women, there is less of a need to observe the fidelity for either gender. There is also the emotional desire to be attractive and the ultimate proof is in coital consumation. Sex has become a recreational activity that is limited more by the fear of infection than impregnation. Still, the biological elements of a male seeking to widely spread his genetic material, and a female seeking the most preferable mate are at the root of the desire for multiple mates.
Size doesn't matter. Sensitivity is much more vital.

This has been the topic of many of my stories. In researching, I've discovered that those who are adamantly opposed are generally possessive and insecure. The primary ingredient for this to succeed has to be TRUST. My personal experience is that the partners know that their relationship is solid and is based on mutual respect, and they possess a desire for the partner to experience the elation of an expanded sexuality. I've compared it to playing tennis (especially doubles). The partner gets all hot and sweaty from playing with another and experiences the thrill. At the end of the game, though, he or she returns to the original partner because what they have is bigger, stronger, and more emotionally satisfying than the momentary exultation of the game. It's fun to participate and to watch, to cheer on the participants in their pursuit of joy and delight, secure in the knowledge that the relationship endures. Sex is a physical pursuit that can be devoid of emotional attachment. Love is an emotional endeavor in which sex is an element.

Another consideration is the position. Most of these injuries occur in running backs, receivers, linebacker, safeties, cornerbacks and return specialists. The chances are greatly reduced among interior linemen, guards, tackles, centers, etc. Any player CAN get concussed tackling a running player, but the chances are much reduced for those in the so-called "grunt" positions. Perhaps he can be allowed to continue if he will accept a move to one of the less glamorous positions on the team. In general, though, I tend to agree that a 17-year-old is not going to take a long-term view. That's what parents do.
One nighter? One night is a beginning. Ideal partner is one who is willing to explore the possibility of a longer-term relationship; one who has an interest in establishing a relationship with my SO and me based on caring, mutual respect, and desire.
