Not a lot to tell here. I'm a pretty average guy. I haven't really written since the early 90's.
I'm a computer geek, but have been a welder/fitter, logger, volunteer firefighter/EMT, bum.
I do my best to act on the premise that people should be treated with respect, until they prove me wrong, then I prefer to not have interaction with them.
I'm married to a lovely 20 something woman (no, not Ashley) who left the UK to come marry me 8 years ago. We met online.

Camping, off-roading, cutting firewood, reading, watching movies, baking, swimming, yard sales, tinkering on/repairing/improving mechanical things (when it goes right)

Hmmm...hard to say, but: 2001 A Space Odyssey; Dr Strangelove; Fail Safe (1964 version though the remake was, surprisingly, pretty good); Troll Hunter

I despise Jackson's The Lord of The Rings and the Hobbit. In over 50 years of watching films, I can't think of any I like less than his.

Vikings, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead

I very broad range, something from nearly every genre. No matter what your tastes are you could probably find something on the shelf here you like, or hate, as the case may be.
