Always, unless I'm out camping and the temperature is below freezing, then boxers and maybe a t-shirt.
Other than a basic middle school Home Ec class, all my cooking lessons largely came from watching Justin Wilson on television. My philosophy, such as it is, is to just go for it. Like most guys I gravitate towards fire (grills) over stoves if possible. Damn near burned down the deck once ... or twice.
That's my problem. I'm out in public too much. Why didn't I notice sooner.
It wouldn't be skinny dipping if we are on the shore, would it? Let go in and splash Bill and Fawn, strictly for fun of course. (at first).
Hopefully I would either know this was going to happen or I would be close enough to some friends (bi females) that we could get together and they could show me the best ways to please a woman from their (my new) perspective. Since they have guys they seem to hold in high regard for their skills, I'd try that for more of the perspective thing.
Once I was back to 'normal' I would love to thank them for helping me be a better lover.
(yeah, kinda corny/cheesy. But, I like to learn, so the lessons would be fun)

Samoas are my vice. The same scout reminds me just before Christmas that she will be selling them in January. I have started calling her "my dealer". I get two cookies a day M-F until both boxes are gone.
Like Julie said,"the pertness, newness, timid challenge, exploration, teaching ...." I think 'older' women (35+) know what they like or want and that is what they expect, which I appreciate. The 18 - early 20s on the other hand, are still in that learning phase, just out of high school and into college. They can be seen as more willing to experiment and learn, which for more than a few guys is a huge ego boost.
For guys in general, our peak performance age is 18-25. Younger women can take us back to those good old days for a little while. (again, ego, with guys you can often find the answer somewhere in the ego)
