Hello friends, I have been out of circulation as I am the primary caregiver for my mom. Late night and I should be snuggled under the covers with DD, but my mind will not settle so I pop in here for an adult beverage and time away from life as it is.

Sorry I have been away, RL has taken my time and energy since I last saw you all. Moved Mom in with us, so we can keep a better eye on her. She was in the hospital last week and on Thurs got moved to a skilled nursing facility, the idiot physical therapist signed off on her coming home, and I stopped that bc she couldn't get out of the bed on her own. 😠 She is doing better, and will start therapy on Monday. Confirmation from the neurologist that she has onset dementia which I already suspected, but good to get the educated view. Anyway, I've missed everyone and I will do my best to be here more often.

Alot has been going on since I last sat in the big chair by the fire. My mom has been in the hospital and is now in a therapy place, for the last 3 weeks, she is doing much better and they will release her next week for home therapy. I have a new role at work, but doing both until they hire my replacement. sigh

Looking forward to Thanksgiving this week, I took time off so I am planning to stuff myself with good food, time with DD get some needed rest and then get ready for Christmas (my favorite time of year).

Yes it is confusing. There are two types of chatrooms.
The rooms under "Global" Banner are rooms from around the world.
The rooms under "Regional" Banner are Lush Members Only Rooms.
Having said that there are rooms under Country Names that look like they are in the Regional Section. But they are Swinger Heaven Only Rooms. So you need to be signed up to that site to enter those rooms.
The Global Rooms have different rules & regulations. But I do not know specifics. I refuse to go into those rooms.
When you click on chatrooms you are thrown into a Global Room & a Lush Room. The Lush Room that you are thrown into is defaulted to "Lounge".
If you are on your phone when you go into the chatrooms click on Lounge at the top of the screen. That will open a dropdown menu to show you which other rooms you are in, if any at all. & you will be in 2 rooms when you 1st enter the chatrooms. The other room will be a Global Room. Click the x beside the name of that room & you will exit that room & stay in Lounge.
Now with regards to Lush Chatrooms so far we have Balcony, Lounge, Bedroom & Basement as permanent rooms. Ladies of Lush room is password protected which you can ask Mary Contrary for (I hope I spelt her name correctly). Other rooms are opened by members.
If you have any more questions Gracie please don't hesitate to ask. I will help when & where I can.

Howdy peeps! 

How is everyone since the format change? I have to honestly say I am not a big fan. I don't like opening my profile and seeing "matches" for me, makes me feel like I've signed onto Tinder or some other dating site. 😒

Maybe enough feedback and it will go away.  Sigh. I just want to read and chat and make friends. 

Had a category 1 hurricane come through on Monday night. It started out as a tropical storm and the next thing you know.. not a big rain producer but lots of winds.  We lost half a fence in the backyard. Good thing our dog is very obedient.  Hoping to get a quote for repair next week.

Busy week with work, I start a new role Oct 1, but will double hat until they hire my replacement. It's a virtual global role, so I will be wfh still, I'm sure with the option of going to the office when I want to.  Maybe I will carpool with DD those days? 😉 😳 

Long note tonight but wanted to check in and grab an adult beverage. I will have another and go curl up in the comfy chair to read. Company welcome if you want to catch up or just have quiet time.
