Just a few sex and kink related books which have pricked my interest:

1) Sex with Shakespeare: Here’s Much to Do with Pain, but More with Love by Jillian Keenan.

Keenan explores her spanking fetish through the prism of Shakespeare’s plays. I promise this is not as dull as it sounds! This blend of memoir and literary criticism really spoke to me. It’s also available on Audible if you prefer to listen.

2) Second Skin by Anastasiia Federova

Federova takes us through a tour of the various materials which have acquired a fetishistic resonance: rubber; leather etc. Her own experiences are woven deftly through this work together with history, politics and thoughts on gender. Once again, this can be accessed via Audible.

3) Tart by Slutty Chef.

A beautifully written and wryly humorous take on a young woman’s sexual adventures in London. As the title suggests, there’s also a great deal about food here, with the author battling to build a career as a chef. This is lighter fayre than the other two books listed here, but I really enjoyed it.
