Science and Fantasy genres (note: they are different), mythologies, pretty much stories that make me lose track of time and have to call in "sick" to work the next day to finish.

The Princess Bride, Rocky Horror Picture Show (150+ times in theater), Star Wars was the 2nd movie I ever saw in a theater began a love of storytelling. Other top faves....The Harry Potter movies, The Breakfast Club, the John Wick franchise, Everything by Mel Brooks, I have never not cried during the last scene of Scrooged, Monty Python's Meaning of Life, Holy Grail, and Life of Brian always make me laugh so hard I choke.

The Avenger series from beginning to end are the cultural equivalent of the Iliad and the Odyssy. Endgame is arguably among the best movies ever made.

With the exception of the first few years of marriage, I got laid more often taking people on dates to see "Ghost" than any other period of my life. Unchained Melody is amazing to fuck to.

Favorite TV Shows
M*A*S*H, All in the Family, Carol Burnett Show, NCIS, anything pro-wrestling, football (Packers only, unless someone is beating the Vikings really bad), Everything by James Burke (Tomorrow's world, Connections, Connections2, The Day the Universe Changed), Lucifer, most of Adult Swim, IASIP.

TV has become mostly background "white noise" in recent years.

Favorite Music
Some classical but generally anyone prior to Chuck Berry has a much higher bar to hurdle.

Red Sovine and those of his ilk are the antithesis of music, Most country is horrible, but I make exceptions for Ray Charles and Willie Nelson (Seven Spanish Angels), Patsy Cline, and The Old Dogs. Dolly Parton gets a free pass for two reasons.

If all music suddenly disappeared except for the discologies of Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and BonJovi, I'd be just fine.
