I primarily read historical non-fiction. My favorite books are JOHN ADAMS by David McCullough, THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, THE RISE AND FALL OF THE THIRD REICH by William Shirer, HELTER SKELTER by Vincent Bugliosi, THE FIRST WORLD WAR by John Keegan, THE FIRST AMERICAN by HW Brands, and FOUNDING BROTHERS by Joseph Ellis. I also love Garrison Keillor's LAKE WOEBEGON books, TRANSMETROPOLITAN by Warren Ellis, Alton Brown's GOOD EATS books, and far too many more to name. And I have a copy of THE MONSTER AT THE END OF THE BOOK on my desk.
