Guardians of the Galaxy had a great soundtrack and it was very clever how it became integral to the plot.

One of the best uses of sound, I think, is The Magnificent Seven. Also, The Graduate.

Hm. Not seeing much John Williams love here, so to remedy that:

I like a lot of the ones on Bethany's list, esp. the John Barry-era Bond scores.

Casablanca has a great score for older movies.

I loved the movie; I'm a sucker for all things romantic, but the soundtrack is superb. I actually went out and bought it, I loved it that much. I still listen to quite often.
