In many countries being gay is a crime, and even in modern societies, politicians try to legalise discrimination. Your voice can make a difference. Have a look at All Out to find out how.

TIL the ins and outs of "Hazard analysis and critical control points." and that in the project management world you're wise to remember good old J. Paul Getty's saying 'I would rather have 1% of 100 people's efforts, than 100% of my own." because some projects will just suck you dry if you don't!
Today I learned that some people still don't understand you can't always speed up things by adding more workforce. It still is a fact, that nine women can't do in one month, what one woman can do in nine....

No, no no! Sorry, definitely not. If so it would definitely be the immaculate conception! I am managing a few different projects, and to 'crash' the project means to throw more labour/money/resources at a certain part on the critical path... and I've tried to explain that that doesn't make ships move faster or import and customs people move quicker ... that sort of thing.

Okay, projectmanagement. This actually works there. When I used it, to point out, that some tasks simply can't be split, management finally got the picture.
