I remember how I was picked on by bullies throughout 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, and in my 5th and 6th weeks of Army Basic Training; the only option I had in every situation, to make it stop, was to put fear into them or beat the crap out of them.

IRW I got into my 1st fight with a bully who refused to let my younger brother go down the slide at the park… I pushed through my 5 other siblings, climbed the ladder to the top of the slide and gave this punk 2 chances to just step aside and let my brother go down… a bloody nose and lip on the kid by me got me a beating from my dad—well worth getting.
