We have a beautiful 3 year old Dalmatian
I have three pets, all rescued.
The eldest is a brown tabby cat named Zimmerman. He's about thirteen. We adopted him when he was a little over a year old. He charmed me by sitting on my lap in the play room at the shelter and kneading my lap without hurting me (he doesn't care so much about hurting me any more).
The second is a pitbull/Dalmatian mix named Pippa. She's about 5 and exuberant is an understatement. When she wants to thank us for a good meal, she brings us tea towels from the kitchen.
And our newest adoption is a little cat we've named Fern (now expanded to Herphernius... from Her Ferny-ness). She's a black and white that was so small when she wandered into our yard, we thought she was a kitten. But, no. She was chipped and is over 10. She plays constantly; Zimmerman just sits and watches her.
I own a German Shepherd Breeding Kennel. I have 25 studs and 24 dams.

Dog. Prefer dog but am not opposed to cats, but old man will not have them.
We had at one time 4 adult dobermans in a house that was under 700 square foot. That was fun, thank goodness we found homes quickly for the 2 we were fostering

Dog or dog isn't listed although Cat or cat is. Cat and Dog isn't the same. Anyway, I own a 5 year old Pitt Bull-Boxer mix. He's my best friend some times. He's always there for me and is always happy to be in my company. I'd do anything for my dog friends.
I have 4 dogs now. Had a cat but it got out one day and never came back. Miss the cat. He was funny as hell.
Chocolate Lab, three outdoor cats (allergic to cat dander), Salt Water Aquarium, Cows, Chickens, and used to have two horses but they are now at my aunts with her stud horse ?

One dog--shih-tzu, Chip, 8years old, who licks my feet as I put them on the floor first thing in the morning. He has such good taste.

Cons:
They're constantly hungry and want whatever I am eating.
Six years ago I never would have guessed that three animals could poop this much.
Pros:
They each independently decided that I am the only bed that they will ever need. Each morning is a welcomed struggle as I try to find the motivation to climb out from under the pile of cuteness.

We're dog people. Have a 13 yo rescue chihuahua-dachshund mix. Unfortunately she has advanced cancer and we are euthanizing her tomorrow. It's a sad night...
