When I was younger I went to concerts constantly and was lucky to have a connection in the business that provided free tickets to top acts, sometimes as many as three in three days. Just a partial list: Aerosmith, U2, Waterboys, Rush, Pink, Lenny Kravitz, Queen, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Cheap Trick, Ozzy, ACDC, Stones, Dire Straits, Bob Seger, Bob Dylan, tons more including everything from stadiums to small clubs. I've seen a lot of blues acts in small clubs and even partied with a few musicians. Sad to say I had a tendency to 'celebrate' and my memories are a bit hazy. I rarely go to concerts these days I find the ticket prices outrageous and in my neck of the woods they have much tighter security which has diminished my preferred experience.

Some pretty impressive lists here!

The Rolling Stones: The Kinks: The Yardbirds (probably the most influential band of all time): The Merseybeats: The Dave Clarke 5: The Who: Chuck Berry with the Sunsets: Jack Bruce Band (to name drop I played support on that gig): The J. Giles Band: Johnny Winter: Rory Gallagher: Marty Wilde and the Wild Cats (to name drop again I got drunk with him): Free (I absolutely adored them): Bad Company: The Eagles: The Stranglers (to name drop yet again I lent the current guitarist and vocalist Baz Warne my guitar): The Quests of Singapore: Dr Feelgood: Robert Plant: Johnny Cash (I won the tickets in a contest):

My deepest regret is never seeing the Beatles and also that due to his criminal management Elvis never toured outside the U.S. so I never saw him.

I miss attending concerts/shows so much.

There's a few taking place this month that I won't be attending cause I don't want to get infected. Yes, still choosing to be safe.

PUNK ROCK BOWLING 2021

A lot of the bands were replacements for band who had a lame excuse.

FatMike on the other hand, got death threads so he and NOFX(crappy band) had to pull out.

I was in Las Vegas from the 22-27.

Saw FEAR on Thursday the 23rd

FRIDAY:

DWARVES

ANTI-FLAG

DESCENDENTS

SATURDAY

YOUTH OF TODAY

LEFTÖVER CRACK

CIRCLE JERKS

SUNDAY

Not even Devo could save that line up.

Sunday for us was a free day.

Out of 42 bands, we saw 6 perform(FEAR was a club band, not a main festival band,  this yr.)

Many said it was a great festival, either it was their first time attending or they were just happy to be in Vegas.

Here's hoping next yrs Festival is actually great.

Used to go to 3-4 gigs a week in the 80s. The whole point of working was to buy and see music.

Mostly metal bands - Maiden, AC/DC, priest, Metallica, Motörhead. Too many to mention.

Mainly cover bands now!

Last big gig was Rammstein
