I'm surprised to see so many people wanting to visit my homeland, England. I didn't think we Brits were that popular these days. Myself, I travel a lot, but the places I'd really love to see are Australia and New Zealand. C.

You're not Charley. They want to see the land not the people.

Arrr, Chef, do I detect a little anti-British feeling there?

Can't agree with that. I toured the UK on a bed and breakfast/rental car deal when I was 25, and I met so many friendly, warm and inviting people that I couldn't wait to go back the next year. In fact, when I hit the pub in Scotland, a group of local girls came over and wanted to know why I was alone, and I told them I was on a vacation by myself, and they said they couldn't have such a nice girl all by herself, so they "adopted" me for the next two days and showed me around the city, and took me to all kinds of placed I'd never have found by myself. The weather in the UK might be cold at times, but the people are most certainly not.

So is that where you want to go again before you die?
