China. My mom's relatives are from there, and when I went to visit, I discovered I was really drawn to the place. To this day, I still miss their food (it's really good!) I hope to be able to visit one day.
I miss my Golden Retriever, who was far more to me than just 'a dog'. I miss his face in the morning, his head tucked onto one of my shoulders and his paw on the other, my running mate, my forever furbaby that got me through many dark times in life. His absence leaves a hole in my heart that will never truly be filled. There's no person, place or thing I will ever miss more than him.
Awww Dancing Doll that's so sweet. I miss my Dad who doesn't live with us anymore. I also miss having a brother or sister??? Being an only kid is lonely sometimes.
I miss my favourite leather cuffs and collar.
Currently miss my boyfriend. While away last weekend we had a huge fight. Got back together on Tuesday and Fought on Wednesday morning.
Give it a rest for a few more days.
My father - who was a beautiful caring gentleman - never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Our house in France, the smell of the pine trees and the sound of the crashing waves and the feeling of damp sand under your feet.

i miss the person that I shouldn't actually miss..
My home state of NM, which I don't get to visit very often. Beautiful place, wonderful people!
Person: My dad... he would of had so much fun with my kids, like I did growing up - he died just months before my 1st child was born
Thing: I don't miss many "things" but I guess it would be my once a month mani/pedi I used to have with the girls when we lived in the same city - it was a little luxury and a chance to reconnect with friends
Place: I love the country but I really miss living in the city; seeing and teasing the old men gossiping at the coffeeshop, walking to the bakery for fresh bread, and eating lunch at the italian deli around the corner (they had the best espresso) - country living is great but if I want to have any kind of social interaction I have to drive at least a half hour to the rest of civilization
The person I once was. Full of inspiration, and looking at the next day as one to conquer and one which would bring something new instead of one I had to get through to the weekend and so I could be myself again.
Oh well.
The more I read, the more thankful I am for my parents...as for who I miss? My friend committed suicide almost 2 years ago, and I miss him. There are too many 'what if's'. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if only he had asked for help.

My Father... He was tall grande intelligent man, a pioneer, kind, loving with loads of integrity, I'd give anything for one more talk and a bear hug from him. Places various, right now Cala d'hort, Ibiza, have a great paella at Carmen's and watch the sun go down behind Es Vedra...

Place - traveling around Italy, so much to see and take in. Wine country in Napa and Sonoma would be next. Although seeing the world is the one thing that I absolutely love.

He was a 29 year old marine who was a single father. We went on a few dates that were really, and this is going to sound corny, magical. I never clicked with someone like that before. I never wanted anyone like that before. And then he found out he had to go back to Iraq. I saw him a few hours before his plane left. We sat in a mall cafe. He held my hand, told me how beautiful and amazing I was, and how much it hurt to let me go. He said he wanted more than anything for us to be exclusive but he wouldn't make me wait two years for him. I've tried to e-mail him but have received no response. It's 8 months later and I still miss him and I don't know why.
My friend hunterp. I know I have no right to miss him, and much of the blame is mine. He opened me up to so many things and helped me learn who I really am. I miss him every day and can only hope that someday he will give our friendship another chance. But, if not, at least I know how much he helped me and I will always be grateful for that.

I miss the days when my whole family sings together inside the car while we go on long drives. My sisters and I would sing the melodies, while my dad sings the bass lines and mom sings the harmony.
