Any song ever having to do with Xmas. They can all burn in the fiery hell they were spawned from.

This.

Any of the 'modern' Christmas songs...especially that horrific Do They Know It's Christmas or whatever it's called. I hear that song and I think, fuck, why the fuck would people who aren't Christian (you know, a solid 2/3 or more of the world's population) give a half a damn about whether it's Christmas or not? Yes, I know that that isn't the point of the song, but still...grrr.
Want to spend some time wallowing in a Recommended Read? Pick one! Or two! Or seven!

Red Red Whine... I know it's Red Red Wine, but he whines the whole fucking tune. Only song that'll make me immediately change the station.

I Will Always Love You. Things are a little better now, but for several years that song was EVERYWHERE. I think it was responsible for thsat whole overly elaborate signing style where they have to hit fifty extra notes at the end of a line: "I will always love you-oooo-OOOO-oooo."
Cotton-eyed Joe

I can tolerate it if I'm three sheets to the wind but otherwise I think it's just so overplayed and annoying.

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

Anything by Meatloaf is truly painful to listen to.

Disturbeds rendition of The Sound of Silence by SIMON AND GARFUNKEL
No just no.

And anything by something named chainsmokers.

Noise snob here--don't share your noise w/ me cause pretty sure I won't like it.
fucking horrible song!

Everything by the Spice Girls.
Everything by the beatles.
Guns & Roses.... I know everyone loves them, but I just can't stand anything they sing.
Imagine by John lennon. Imagine getting out of fucking bed? Stupid bloody song

Everything by the beatles.

I am funny with the Beatles. Everyone goes on about how great John and/or Paul were, but I actually prefer George's music. Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and Here Comes the Sun are probably my three favorite Beatles songs. I wouldn't say I HATE John and Paul's music, they just don't grab me the way George does for some reason. Still some great material there, but maybe I just heard too much of it or heard too much about how great they were when I was younger and kind of burned out on them.

As for popular stuff I hate, EDM, especially now that artists like Chainsmokers are bringing it more and more into mainstream top 40 pop music. There's some I do like. Some of the "progressive house" music (my son is the expert and I got the term from him) does hearken back to electronic music like Vangelis and Jarre that I do like, but mostly I find EDM repetitive and forgettable. Which drive my teenager nuts because it's his favorite genre of music.
Oops, double-posted the last, but agree with other responses of Hey Jude, Imagine, and I Will Always Love You.
People keep saying "anything by...." I wish they would stick to specific songs. For me there are two. Hey, Jude and Imagine. They make my teeth hurt.
The wind be ith my wings. I wish some one else would publish it. The words are great, I can't stand Bette Midler

Can't stick to specific song when I don't care for artist library of noise.

I don't know about solo work of those men. I just don't know why people like their noise. I don't get it.

How is chainsmockers labeled EDM when they don't fall into that umbrella of noise at all. They are POP not EDM at all. Lyrics don't make sense and beats are mediocre.

Some EDM is atrocious but EDM is repetitive which I like.
Wonderwall, by Oasis. Actually 'anything by' Oasis. Uggghhh probably the most overrated band in history. Awful, just awful... but everyone else loves them. Go figure.
Not like anything about Justin Beiberbaby.
I not know anyone who likes him.

Not like anything about Whitney Houston either.
Though I like one of her songs.

Think both are very bad role models for anyone.
let's dance by david bowie...its like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I've always thought the same thing. I wasn't thinking of that song until I read this thread, but I think that's my most hated song, yes.

In other news, I nearly got chased out of Graceland once for complaining that Elvis is totally overrated.

Don't believe everything that you read.

I have to say this. No offense, but you sir, simply have no taste.
Any song sung by Rod Stewart. This voice drives me crazy.

I'm with you on that. Though it's mostly the vocals that I really can't stand. Such whining.

Not heard that one.
Basically anything currently playing on the radio. Same group of 10 songs every hour. Way over played. But in particular I cannot stand that Despacito song.
