So it is Monday morning – a new week, with no mistakes in it, yet.

Let's get it going…

Lights are on, Lady Dryad has cleaned up and we’re ready to rumble.

Tea Kettle is refilled and ready. There are pots of Red Rose and English Beakfast teass available on the sideboard, plus all the other fine teas in the box. Sachets of Swiss Miss are available, along with the usual mound of mini marshmallows.

Big Bertha has been cleaned, rinsed, and refilled, and is now perkin' away.

Today we're using Kick Ass Coffee from Kicking Horse Coffee Roasters, just to get things started.

There are donuts.

Plus I've got some chocolate biscotti for y'all.

@Carl. I'm daft, blonde and forgetting people's names again. A very forgetful dryad tells me a horse stepped on your foot. Bloody painful thing a foot injury and maddeningly slow to heal. I'm red faced and very embarrassed that I didn't send extra prayers right away when you got hurt. So will double the prayers and blow you a kiss or two to make it up to you.

I heat dear Kimmi is taking a break. Will dispatch a dryad to watch over her. Dear friends are hard to find and deserve a little minding

Weather sucks here. I am feeling less than 100% myself. Driving for three hours straight with only one short break left me tired and achy last night. Weather doesn't help. I often have headaches when the weather is bad.

Best tip I can give for that is to write what I call bread crumbs.

Little fragments of story idea, dialogue, character description.

That way when you have a piece of the story you can find other little bread crumbs to mix together to give you an idea for a story to tell.

Always remember that you've already written a story so you know this is something you can do again.

It might flow together in the next five minutes or take much longer to all come together.

I know you can do it, when you're ready you're going to make something beautiful.

I'm proud of you, I believe in you and I know how talented you are even when you doubt yourself.

Been doing great. Landed a nice public sector job doing site support for a hospital. No pressure and a nice iron clad permanent contract.

Herself has started doing some home pottery. For now it's the air dried stuff you finish in a regular kitchen oven.
