CK, What else can be said? I'm glad mrs P isn't a vegetarian! Throw on the steaks, I'll fix the baked potatoes and apple pie.
That sounds awesome. i'll bring the beers

The vegans can bring the salad.
Thanks Chef. Your right. Case closed. Gina I put a couple extra cases of beer in the trunk and some wine also.
Just in case.
I'll have a ribeye, medium. Wish baked potato; butter, cheese, and bacon. Crispy asparagus.

it is difficult to pass up Brasilian Barbeque...

This is how they do it in the south of Brasil... "the Gauchos" border with Argentina

Sounds like a plan. And from our brother and friend Jeff/WMM

*giggles* for the record, i'm not coming at this with anger, just having a little rebuttal fun! smile

I love eating steaks, hamburgers, chilidogs, baby back ribs, pulled barbecue pork, pork chops. fried chicken, etc.

Veggies are good too. Baked potatoes to accompany my steak or super sweet cole slaw to top my hamburgers! And add a pickle and onion to that burger!

Another great veggie is hops, as in beer hops. I get my veggies out of an ice cold long neck bottle.

i DO eat one kind of meat, but i'm not allowed to post pictures of it in the forum... *giggles*

some good veggies: popcorn, baked potatoes, loaded potatoes w/bacon bits, boiled peanuts!

Boiled Peanuts!
(The best ones are found on roadside stands throughout the south served up by old codgers wearing faded overalls!)

Sprite I won't post those pics of us feeding each other boiled peanuts while wearing togas!

You beat me to my rebuttable comment Sprite - you awesome gal you.

Nevertheless, we have canines (the teeth, not the dogs) for a reason and I thoroughly enjoy using them. Oh, AND I'm gorgeous.

Chef, I worship your insight.

Thank-you Sir Knight.

humm boiled peanuts.

I got yer PETA.

Now ladies, don't get all combative. I wanna see you ladies hug, and give each other a kiss, and....what the hell were we talking about again?
in the south you have to have a pulled pork sandwich... with slaw... (cabbage is a vegetable!) AND SWEET TEA

and Buz is right... boiled peanuts are always necessary....

I am totally for meat, with any combinations of vegetables and sauces. I do draw the line at Tripe.
Buz and Chefcathleen have the best comments on this thread.
I was a vegetarian for 12 years, from 12 years old until 24 (do you still hear the lambs crying at night Clarice?) and I have to say, it was a lot easier to keep the weight off back in those days, than it is now. I was almost never sick either, hardly ever coming down with colds or the flu for example.

Now I have to really work at being fairly slim, although I believe age has a lot to do with that. When you are young, it's easy (ish) to maintain a good physique.

I think the original photo has been doctored somewhat, her hands look like those of a 65 year old.

I want what Jamie Lee Curtis was eating.
I love animals. They taste delicious.

Mmm, I'm having an odd craving for fish tacos

Those pics had my mouth watering in an instant...I do love being a carnivore at times, lol

This post comes to you from the original and highly disorganised mind of mine...be scared, I certainly am, lol
Don't worry Eviotis, I luv Sprite and she knows it. She's just pulling my chain cause she knows I eat...wait for it... MEAT!!
Boiled peanuts, ribs, steaks wow what a thread. Almost like the bacon thread that went on for a year.

Hell, when I was young I lived on Doritos and french fries and I was a skinny little fucker. Nicknamed Bones in Jr High. I think as we age most of us begin gaining weight and have a harder time shedding those unwatned pounds. You may have had the same thing happen even if you were still eating kelp burgers. lol

Bring on the meat. I'm carnivorous by nature.

i love meat. haha all kinds!
i am a carnivore myself, but i think the two pics hardly tell a tale... the veggie one is just a pic as it was taken, the one of the meat eater just reeks of photoshop... let alone cosmetic products used over the years... maybe even a botox or two... oh yeah... did i hear someone say plastic surgeon? hehe

btw... nigella is HOT HOT HOT! silly
I love meat. Give me a steak any day! Veggies are good side dishes.
