I know Ziggy played guitar but didn't know Ozzy did!

But seriously, great choice but I may have gone with Mr. Crowley, so hard to choose. Randy Rhoads was a God!!
Look up these 3 guys

Gary Moore
Joe Bonomasso
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd
No Way I can pick just one or two or ten!!

Just about any solo by (in no particular order)

David Gilmour
Jimmy Page
Jimi Hendrix
Eric Clapton
Ritchie Blackmore
Gary Moore
Michael Schenker
"Dimebag" Darrell
Randy Rhoads
Steve Vai
Robin Trower
Joe Satriani
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Eddie Van Halen
Yngwie Malmsteen
Brian May
Jeff Beck

Very underrated, Gary Rossington and Allan Collins with a little Steve Gaines mixed in. Love how they switched off the leads.

Song is over played but still great!!
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing

The Damned - Smash It Up (Part 1)

That's the instrumental first half of the video - sorry, I find solo's (any instrument) boring, but a guitar lead instrumental is cool

Not a heavy metal fan but I like this...
Joe Perry Of Aerosmith
right on, boogie man.
The Late Great Gary Moore, Absolutely AMAZING!! Jimi would have loved it I'm sure!

I know he can be an acquired taste, but Jack White can really tear it up, esepecially live when he really lets it rip.

There are so many amazing guitarists, many you really don't think of because of their laid back style but put them in a jam band and they go off.

One guy who is very underrated is Mike Campbell who plays with Tom Petty. I saw him play in a club once with a few other guys and he really tore it up.

And another guy no one ever thinks of was Frank Zappa. That man could play!
Not Only is Ana eye candy but she can dance on the strings too. She puts on an awesome live show as well.

as much as i like tom petty, i didn't *truly* appreciate mike campbell til i saw TP&tHB live. geeze oh pete.

Two greats for the price of one! Jazz isn't to everyone's taste, but Di Meola and Pastorius are as good as they come on guitar and bass.

I love the Damned and especially Smash It Up, but comparing Captain Sensible with all the guys mentioned above is just wrong, LOL!!
You can't do really hot licks on an acoustic guitar - or can you?

Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues For You
David Gilmour's solo in Pink Floyd's Time is perfection.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Also I'd say that Carlos Santana's playing on Abraxas (the entire record) is also absolute genius.

Don't believe everything that you read.

Jay Graydon - Peg
Larry Carlton - Kid Charlemagne
