My humble opinion ....

Beatles (one of my absolutely favourite fab bands!)

1. In My Life
2. Long and Winding Road

Hate to bust anyone's bubble on this thread ... by IMAGINE is not a Beatles song. "Imagine" is a song written and performed by English rock musician John Lennon. It is the opening track on his album Imagine, released in 1971. "Imagine" was released as a single in the United States where it reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100. When asked about the song in one of his last interviews, Lennon declared "Imagine" to be as good as anything he had written with the Beatles. The lyrical content of "Imagine" was "just what John believed — that we are all one country, one world, one people. He wanted to get that idea out."

Peace to all ....

Can't name 1 great song, just too many of them.

What a cop-out, Chuck! You think the rest of us only like one Beatles song? It was all I could do to not toss 20 out at once. Since you threw out the Abbey Road cover photo, give us one from that album.

OK!!! I've been called out...The classic of all classics..."Here Comes The Sun" and you have to give "Something" the best work of George
The backside of Abbey Road since it was their last together.
how the heck to choose just one?! i just discovered 'all you need is love!' OK, so mine would have to be 'i am the walrus'. for the nonsensical lyrics, john lennon's vocals and the end part where ringo starr does a little trippy drum bit before the song fades out.

'sexy sadie' comes close.
"Here Comes The Sun"
this changes Daily really I'm a huge Beatles fan(has to listen to them now)...but today it's 'you got to hide your love away'
Do you include Paul McCartney and Wings?

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, anybody want a hit!!!!

Absolutely! My number one favourite Beatles song. Though 'Hey, Jude' and 'Imagine' are next in line.

Yes, I know 'Imagine' was only done by Lennon, but I tend to clump all of their individual works as Beatles related stuff.

There is really no one best Beattles song, they have so many amazing tunes... A day in the life ranks up there.
thats a tough choice but i gotta say michelle is there best song
too many to choose from Eleanor Rigby? While my guitar gently weeps? Ob - la - de - ob - la - da?

All favorites of mine.
I beg to differ with everyone. Maxwells Silver Hammer never fails to put me in a good mood.
Lol. Also, Sgt Pepper shares the title of best album of all time with Queens Boheimian Rhapsody.
Here Comes The Sun.
My personal favourite is Come Together, but their best song? In my oppinion it's either Get Back or the Ballad of John and Yoko
Today I'm choosing Hello Goodbye as my favourite(grins)
Let it be is a good one...
Octopus's Garden. Come on who's with me?
