iPhone 4S and I love it. I don't care too much for all the customising of the Android...really doesn't bother me. When I hold the phone in my hand it feels quality. All the Android phones I have held don't. It seems all the money has been spent on the tech stuff and scrimped on the build quality. But each to their own, you like what you like but you certainly should not be criticised for doing so.

I do agree that Apple wants and in part has controll. When they say that a rectangular with rounded edges cannot be used by any other company because its an Apple design, it's non sense.

To answer the post. I had android, right now iPhone because I need my cell to work and they work damn good. Also Apple must have one of the best support, and instantly if you visit their store.

My complain with the iphone: With the Androids that I had, I used to always carry an extra fully charged battery and swap it if needed, I was never without power.

I have had both the iphone 3, 3s, 4s and the the Android Razor. I love the Iphone much more than the Android. I rarely have to worry about viruses in programs that I get from the Apple store. I love the technical support that I have received over the years. My iphone is my computer, I use it for everything. My battery last a long time, but I close out unused applications (if you dont know how just ask me) and also set features to conserve battery. I can do more on my iphone than I could on my andriod devices. I was never much of an Apple fan until the Iphone came along. Now I want an Ipad. I guess its more your own personal preference than anything else. If you still are undecided go to different stores and try out the devices. That way you get the feel of each one. However, do not let a sales person push you into something you are not ready to do. Stand firm and do you own comparisons and read the differences. The information is out there to make an informed decision.

We have one of each in our household
the Mrs likes the iPhone and i love my android

Personally i cannot stand iTunes. for anything or any reason. It is some of the worst software I have ever used. Imo the only thing iTunes does well, is track what you have purchased through iTunes. The rest is a nightmare.

i have yet to be disappointed with my android apps

Love my android phone. I could do a commercial for this thing.

Hey, what about us Blackberry users? To paraphrase Monty Python and the Holy Grail, "We're not dead yet!". Unfortunately, it's not quite "only a flesh wound"

However, if my company gives me the option when our contracts are up, I'd go Android. Have a newish Android tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich and quite like it.

Galaxy S3. It's pretty amazing I would recommend it to anybody. I also have the Ipad as it was the best tablet that came to the market. But there are competitors now. And I don't find buying an Ipad 3 for $500 or ipad 2 for $400 amusing. When google is going to soon be releasing the Nexus 10 for $300. =)

I'm actually lucky enough to have an iPod touch and an Android phone (specifically LG Optimus S, which was a $10 replacement for my Blackberry). I'm one of those guys who's way into technology enough to try and make a career in it. I've noticed that I play around more on the iPod, but that may be because the iPod has 8GB of storage on it, so I'm able to download more; if I was able to download as much to my Android, I'd probably be focused around that more; it's easier to sync my info with an Android than an iOS device. (Especially with all the difficulties I've had with iTunes and my iPod.)

At some point, I'll be wanting to upgrade my phone (my phone measures its storage in megabytes, as opposed to gigabytes, and always finds itself low on space, even though I have a dozen apps that I added to it). When I do that, I don't know if I want to stick to Android, switch to iPhone (not likely), or even go with a new phone OS. The rumor mill keeps saying that Facebook is releasing a phone OS, Mozilla has a test of their mobile OS on their website, and Ubuntu (a Linux distribution) is also developing a mobile platform. With major overhauls to Blackberry and Windows Phone architectures, it's a buyer's market.

I've just got my second android phone, an HTC Desire X. I'm loving it. My first one was a Samsung Galaxy Spica, which I'd rooted and flashed with Cyanogenmod and that is exactly the reason I love android: you can do whatever you want with it and it's pretty damned easy. Coupled with the fact that it's almost impossible to brick an android, it gets my vote. iPhone on the other hand. Ugh. It looks pretty, don't get me wrong and it's easy to use, but for modding, it's bloody useless, which is one reason, among so many others that I don't like iPhones. Android FTW because I'm a geek!
