Dont like beer or cider so mostly drink Jack Daniels, Malibu, Southern Comfort, Peach Schapps, Tequila!!...... Fav cocktail is a White Russian.
Not a big fan of wine but i have to I can cope with a rose or a spritzer. Same with beer, gotta have it as a shandy
My drink of choice is an ice cold pint of Stella Artois. I like sampling different beers from around the world, but I always come back to that one.
My favourite drink is an extra dirty vodka martini with blue-cheese stuffed olives (if I'm out in a lounge). In a busy bar or club I'm a vodka-soda girl (preferably pear-vodka) with a twist of lime... or vodka/water for the healthiest option. I usually end my drinking nights when I'm out with vodka sodas because they are easy to shout and order at the bar and they are good to help sober up (nightclubs make vodka soda notoriously weak).
I do like wine (red in the winter and dry white in the summer). I hate sweet wines.
Corona is the only beer I'll drink, and I love it in the summer (and yes, it's because I can put a lime in it).
I'm not big into the fruity drinks unless I'm on holiday... I do love mojitos and a good margarita though.
My favourite splurge is champagne though (the real stuff, not sparkling wine)... I love a good rose.
Hmm... looks like I'm a fan of most alcohol now that I read this. As for ordering different things with different people. No, I just order what I want, but my preferences are more based on the season (summer vs winter drinks) and how drunk I want to get that night.
I'm a simple guy, with simple tastes. I mostly prefer drinks with little mixing involved. Get me a Glenlivet on the rocks, and I'll be your friend. Or a Chivas, or... heck just about anything distilled from a grain. Yes, I'll drink fru-fru drinks if I have to - for instance if the girls ask me to whip up a pitcher of pina coladas, it's hard to not pour myself one as well. But my own personal preference is for simplicity. A cold beer on a hot day is one of life's true pleasures.
Usually depends on the setting, and my mood.
Bar: Makers Mark, with a good IPA if available, otherwise Sam Adams will do. Brooklyn Brewery makes some good stuff too. If they have Old Grand Dad, then even better.
Restaurant: Start with a Laphroaig single malt, or Belvedere Martini straight with olives. Cabernet with dinner.
The only mix I do now would be a Margarita, no salt.
At home, Ouzo on ice, so nice. I rarely modify my approach, unless someone has a good recommendation.
Generally when I do indulge in adult beverages, it is a dry, white wine.
Occasionally, I do enjoy Frangelica over ice.
Purveyor of Poetry & Porn
For beer I like Guinness...when I was in the mood for something stronger it was usually bourbon, though my girlfriend got me hooked on Dirty Martinis last year, hence the name...
Of course, the drinks could vary to fit different situations...like margaritas with Mexican food or red wine with Italian...
Vodka lime and lemonade, diet lemonade if they have it. I might have archers and lemonade, or flavoured vodka and lemonade, it depends what's available and how much it costs.
I'm kinda all over the place with this one. I love a good Long Island iced-tea, although I refuse to order one out because no one EVER makes them right!
Pre-drinking with my girls before the bar, I enjoy a tall glass of bubblegum vodka with diet sprite. Please don't knock it until you try it!
If I'm out at the pub with the guys, It's gotta be either a nice cold Stella or a pint of Strongbow.
At the club, I am partial to either Rye with a diet coke or a vodka and cranberry juice.
I'll never turn down a fruity frozen treat while lounging poolside though.
Jager bombs and tequila shots are always the way to get the party started!

In the day it was vodka (any vodka-well preferred) and soda with lemon twist to flavor rim of bucket glass with lots of ice and little soda. Today, we might go out once a week and both drink Jack & Seven in a highball (small glass) with lots of ice and little Seven. Always been partial to dry red wine and keep a boxed Merlot in the house. The box in the kitchen has been there for months. Because it's all it takes, after the day is wrapped up, I'll have two or three swallows once or twice a week to adjust my mood, relax my mind and warm my soul. : ) Stay away from the stuff when I'm sad or mad fo'sho'.
Torture the data long enough and they will confess to anything.
I am with a lot of you folks here, my tastes differ depending on the weather at times as well.
Hot day with the neighbours:
Ice cold Stella Artois or a Gin and tonic with a generous spritz of lime
Most days:
A nice red wine, once again my tastes depend on the weather. The warmer it is I find myself looking for a lighter red, something grown in Spain, Argentina or France.
However I do not give up pairing a nice Cab with a steak on the BBQ or a shiraz with grilled pork tenderloin.
Nightclubs:
I usually just stick with Vodka Cran or Gin and Tonic, or a Sauvignon Blanc - need something a little cooler and more refreshing when you are dancing up a storm!
Guinness. It's not just for breakfast anymore.
I am a beer drinker mainly. Sam Adams is my first choice.
But I love a good single malt scotch.
Will drink red wine with a nice dinner!
I do drink girly girl drinks when I am out with the girls
I prefer rye (Canadian Whiskey) and ginger
Not much for wine
Beer has to be a Canadian and ice freaking cold!
Have the courage to make the change, the strength to see it through, and keep the faith that it will turn out for the best!
used to drink Michelob, but starting getting allergic reactions to it, so switched to MGD or Old style. I like a sweet white wine like a reisling or a spaetzle, but since lot of people don't keep thise, usually drink white zin. favorite indulgence is Baileys over ice. otherwise, nothing hard
Absinthe, there's actually an absinthe bar in Sydney if anyone local is dying to try. But, since absinthe is sold hardly anywhere else, a G&T is otherwise quite lovely....preferably Tanqueray.

I also gotta agree with mr nudiepants.
Beer, it's easy to spell, and pronounce should my speech get a little slurred.
Rum n coke (liquid) would be my favorite mix.
Many times, I'll switch back an fourth threw out the day/night, maybe even wash it with a snickers bar
I usually tailor my drink choice according to the establishment.
If I'm at a place that serves pub style food, I go for beer.
If I'm at a steak house, I'll take a nice bottle of cab.
If I'm at a sushi place, I'll have light beer or saki.
If I'm at lounge, I'll order an extra dirty martini. Like Tijuana dirty. (with gin, gross I know)
If a place has a large specialty cocktail menu, I'll try something new.
I also like pussy juice.
