I suppose you keep talking to someone that you catch lying to you because you love them. It sucks I know. But really there is no other reason you would. Love can blind us from the truth.
They probably lie to you for one of three reasons.
1. They care enough to not want to hurt your feelings so they lie to you. They probably don't realize you can tell every time they lie.
2. They feel the need to lie because your reactions to little things are over the top.
3. They don't respect you and take you for granted so they dismiss you by lying to keep you at bay because they don't have the courage to tell you to leave them alone.

Some problems are easily solved. A friend of mine was being harassed by an ex by text message. Delete. Don't read. Delete. That simple. I used to let my ex hastle me. She would use our child as a way to make me talk. As soon as I stopped letting her yank my chain the problem dissapated. The guy is a liar. Stop talking to him. Keep your pie hole shut. That simple.
