We got the Looney Tunes in the Czech Republic and I use to love getting up on Saturday morning and watching cartoons. Quite often my older sister would get up and watch them with me. She would laugh, watching me laugh at the zaniness. My first bout with Geography was Bugs Bunny telling me that he made a wrong turn at Albuquerque. I went straight to a map book to figure out where the heck Albuquerque was in the world.
looney toons, especially foghorn leghorn ...
Papers. Peanuts
Tom and Jerry springs to mind.
Memories of others are shrouded in fog.
But the one I loved most Underdog.

There was a whole generation of us who wouod have loved to try an underdog super energy pill.
Beatlejuice TV Series on VHS (thanks to my parents) cause last episode aired December 1991 and I didn't exist yet. (Own them on DVD too)

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.

Still watch cartoons so I have many more I love.
SpongeBob SquarePants of course.

Bugs and Daffy, "Duck Season"
I was a tomboy so if would be a toss up between Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles, Thundercats or Transformers
Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines

Hong Kong Phooey

The Banana Splits
PePe LaPew
Yogi Bear
Popeye
Mighty Mouse

cool topic - i ABSOLUTELY adore cartoons! as a kid the bulk of my childhood was spent overseas on army posts and back then there was just one english speaking channel and it only showed old school hanna-barbera cartoons. during my 4th and 5th grade years we were stationed in the states. the one cartoon i can remember watching faithfully then was jem and the holograms.

we were stationed in the states when i attended high school and batman the animated series was my favorite. these days i binge on cartoon network when i need to veg.

Jem is truly outrageous truly truly truly outrageous

I loved that show!
In kindergarten it was Mighty Mouse. Then all the Chuck Jones Warner Brothers shorts of Bugs, Daffy, Foghorn, and the gang.

Along with Transformers and GI Joe.

I recently downloaded and watched these. When I was a kid I would do ANYTHING to watch these. I would wake up on Saturday at ungodly hours to catch a glimpse of any He-Man or Transformers.

I watched it recently... they are so bad. Such terrible animation.

He-Man was, afik, the first cartoon to treat its audience like imbeciles. The truly annoying way it would remind you that you were watching "He-Man."

The only cartoons I remember as a kid were Loony Tunes and Popeye. I did eventually turn left at Alboocoykey and here I am.

As an adult the best cartoons are the ones that work on multiple levels, most notably The Simpsons (A Streetcar Named Marge is my favourite) and Rugrats.

Looks like we're in for a nasty spell of wether.

My favorites have always been the Warner Bros. cartoons, Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. Especially the ones made in the mid-40s through the 50s. They are still filled with great entertainment. Then, in the 1980s, I discovered Beavis and Butthead along with Daria Morgendorffer. Oh, and an astonishingly good cartoon series was Invader Zim. It was absolutely great.
The Simpsons
Animaniacs
Hey Arnold
Rocko’s Modern Life

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?
