What new story categories would you like added to Lush?

Since age play stories should all be tagged, there's no need for another category.


I guess it comes down to what should be a category and what should be a tag - is it worth having a separate Toys category when any story involving toys could be under Masturbation or Straight/Lesbian etc instead? Or should Toys be expanded to include any kind of prop - outfits/uniforms etc

I would love to see a Humour Category/tag and I think it would be very popular. There are some ridiculously funny stories here that are still pure filth.. (the authors know who they are ) Haven't people loved bawdy humour forever?

A love letter category/tag sounds great. They can be just as beautiful as a love poem.

I suppose it's really about what the "focus" of the story is. I've read stories in the Toys category, to use your example, which were most definitely about the toy(s) and how the characters explore and experiment with them. I have also read stories in other categories that involve toys but it's not a "key" part to the story.

To be honest, the majority of stories fall into several categories and that's why tags are important. Really, we could potentially strip it back to just a handful of categories and put more emphasis on appropriate tagging.

However, I think adding more categories only makes the matter worse. The majority of people are not looking for something so specific as "college stories" or "workplace stories". There's a straight sex category, which caters for anything 'vanilla'.

I also agree with Trinket on wanting a humour section. And how about unifying the Love Poems category to simply Poems? Some stuff in the Love Poems category just aren't love at all. Also, there obviously is a demand for DILF, sure not as much as MILF, so why not, as Poppet suggested, edit the MILF category to encompass DILF as well? I won't go on about the DILF because it's obviously been vetoed forever.

Definitely would love to see a humor category. I know this has been mentioned before.

Also agree with just a plain old "poetry" category. I have 2 poems; one is an ode to my broken vibe and the other is about gifts for the 12 days of Sexmas. Not so much love in either of those poems. In fact, how about a Lust Poem category.

Maybe it needs to be looked into again.

I'm not sure how people want to read MILF and not DILF. I know for one thing, the idea of a younger female, and older man is hot. I've even written one or two. I also think it's hot. I know others would do too. I don't think it'd be hard to change the category to MILF/DILF so we can expand this site to please even more people.

Maybe DILF isn't searched as much because there isn't a category for it. If there were, maybe it might be searched more.

I also think a humor (not humour) category might be fun, I mean we just did a comp on it, and the stories did AMAZING!

For me, Lush works perfectly as it is. By using existing categories, you can find what you want and avoid what you don't want. The categories work best as broad strokes. The story tags allow for finer categorisation - which is why it is important that authors use them... and the search function up there in the top right is one of the best I have ever used.

I've written about witches, machine sex, dinosaurs, reluctance and never had a problem finding them.
