On this test you posted I got, ENFP - Extraverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving.
In the past when I have done these tests I have also gotten, INFJ - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging. It's always these two I get. They seem very different on the surface but once I read the detailed analysis it seems like just a few questions answered differently depending on my mood will swing the test to either one of these two.
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (47%)
You have distinct preference of Intuition over Sensing (59%)
You have moderate preference of Thinking over Feeling (38%)
You have moderate preference of Judging over Perceiving (38%)
I took many of these Myers-Briggs tests in the past and I always alternate between INTJ and INTP (though INTJ comes up a lot more frequently). I also took the test in this thread two years ago, and I got ISTJ for the first time ever; strangely enough that new test indicates that I have a 'distinct' preference for Intuition (while all of my other traits are only 'moderate').
I'm likely 50 Intuition / 50 Sensing with only a slight preference for Intuition. I recognize myself in both of these traits pretty much equally:
Intuition (I):
- Focus on the possibilities
- Are more abstract; like ideas and theories for their own sake
- Trust their gut instincts
- Like to imagine and think about the future
- Like to create new ways of doing things
- Frequently jump around from topic to topic
Sensing (S):
- Focus on facts and specifics
- Are more concrete; like ideas to be practical
- Trust their direct experience
- Like to operate in the here and now
- Are realistic and practical
- Like established ways of doing things
- Think and talk in a step-by-step manner
I recognize myself a lot more in the traits of Judging than Perceiving however, but I also have my contradictions with those (eg. I tend to rush things at the last minute, I don't deal all that well with authority/structure that's imposed upon me, I'm extremely curious by nature, I have a rather eccentric personality, etc.):
Judging (J):
- Often appear planned and organized in their daily routines
- Planned and organized
- Feel supported by structure, guidelines and standardized methods
- Dislike surprises and last minute changes
- May gain satisfaction from ticking off completed tasks on a list
- Often complete projects in a step-by-step, fashion, and in advance of the deadline
Perceiving (P):
- Often appear to have no plan of action and act on spontaneity
- Flexible and adaptable
- Enjoy freedom and variety. Resist or fight against structure, rules, plans, etc.
- Enjoy surprises and last minute changes
- May also use lists. Will probably add to, continually alter or lose the list altogether
- Often leave projects until the very last minute, thriving on the frenetic activity that is needed

ENFJs are the benevolent 'pedagogues' of humanity. They have tremendous charisma by which many are drawn into their nurturant tutelage and/or grand schemes. Many ENFJs have tremendous power to manipulate others with their phenomenal interpersonal skills and unique salesmanship. But it's usually not meant as manipulation -- ENFJs generally believe in their dreams, and see themselves as helpers and enablers, which they usually are.
ENFJs are global learners. They see the big picture. The ENFJs focus is expansive. Some can juggle an amazing number of responsibilities or projects simultaneously. Many ENFJs have tremendous entrepreneurial ability.
ENFJs are gifted with prominent communicative abilities and capable of persuading others to accept their way of thinking or their endeavor, and earning other people's trust.
Years ago when I took this test, I was an ISTJ. Seems that over the years I've moved more toward the feeling side.

I've just published chapter seven of Undercovers Detective. I would love your feedback on this story. I'm planning on ten chapters at least. If you haven't read one yet, I've included links. I hope you like them.

i wasn't surprised at all by my results. i did find it intriguing about my type being falsely perceived as extraverts. i get that ALL the time! i'm definitely a ppl person, but i need a lot of time to recharge.
